Alpha vs. Duo... Meh, it\'s pretty well even, isn\'t it? If you go by game standards, it would be my guess that Alpha would probably win. After all, it takes multiple attacks to weaken his barrier, and Duo\'s punches hit once, maybe twice each panel. Duo does have that laser though... but Alpha would be able to attack Duo more often than Duo could attack Alpha. *punches numbers on his calculator* um, yes, Alpha should win by regular game standards, I believe. If we consider that Duo has only the amount of HP present in the initial playthrough, then the damage dealt by Alpha, which is a constant 100dmg (I think) per downward swipe, hitting 2 out of 3 times, would do 400dmg total for each time that Duo attacked using the frontal laser. Alpha\'s attacks would deplete Duo at such a rate that by the time he used the whole \"face laser kills j00\" thing, it wouldn\'t much matter, because Alpha would be able to withstand it.
Now, from a more story-driven point of view, I\'d say that it would be an even draw between the two. Alpha is able to move and spread his influence more easily than Duo, since Duo never leaves his asteroid. However, in the event that the two main bodies met eachother, Duo\'s sheer mass would be able to handle Alpha\'s rate of growth effectively enough. However, Duo is the one with the ability to affect things in the real world, while Alpha merely causes them to cease working. Duo would be able to actively destroy the hardware on which Alpha ran, thus utterly destroying the exit for Alpha should it be harmed. So, it would probably be a stalemate until the pair came upon another sentient planet far away that would interface with the Meteor. At that point, it would probably be a mutual decision that Alpha exit the meteor for self-preservation... Until Duo crushed the interfacing planet and deleted Alpha once and for all. Duo = the winner!
Happy now, \"Alpha could beat Duo\" chatters?
