If it came down to infantry-to-infantry, yes, China would win. But with China having so many people in one country, that just means one well placed missile can do some serious damage. Now if China was to shut down all their factories and what not from producing things to other countries, there would be a bit of a panic, for as you said, there is alot out there that is made from China. If they were to get their hands on some very good quality technology, there would most likely be a war against the U.S., for they do NOT like the U.S., whatsoever. And the scary things is, with China getting more power in the Economy end of things, they may be able to buy out most things out there. Even buy out people in our government, that is, if they aren\'t already corrupted as it is. China is becoming a pretty powerful country, and with some of the U.S.\'s troops away from Home, if they attacked now, they would have an advantage, small or large, all deciding on how they attacked. But I cannot blame China for hating the U.S., we have done some bad things to China. (What with the forcing of the Open Door Policy and what not.) But in the near/far future, I am not going to be surprised if they have a firm grip on the world.

I agree. The U.S. needs to toughen up a bit. I mean, they used a nuke on Hiroshima, did the U.S. not? If it comes down to it, they would have to do it again. I am sorry, but if it came down to having to kill an entire nation of war hungry people (Not calling China war hungry, just so you know.) to save the lives of the people I love and care for, I would RIDE the missile there to make sure it hit its target.\'You have to make sacrifices of others so that others may live.\', or something like that...

Not necessarily. Dresden, Germany was one of our greater follies with the killing of innocents, not to mention Vietnam. Vietnam you\'ve probably heard more about, but the bombing of Dresden, Germany was near the end of the second world war. It killed over 300 thousand innocent people, so we\'re pretty much a big bunch of lying, hyppocrite, capitalists.

We\'re the politically correct \"NO INNOCENTS MUST BE HARMED!\" country.

And what exactly are the millitary men who enlist in service, hmm? They\'re innocents, you know. They\'ve just been brainwashed to think they\'re killing machines when, in actuality, they\'re regular people who want to help a little. But usually one person can\'t make all too big of a difference in this world.

So Hiroshima was a good idea? I know it stopped the war, and I know as long as humans live on this Earth, there will always be war. I think Vonnegut said it best when he said:

\"I told my friend that I was making a book about Dresden, Germany and the bombing. He asked if it was an anti-war book. I said yes. He then said:

\'Why not make an anti-glacier book instead?\'\"

But that\'s besides the point. No person deserves to die for any reason other than naturally. We destroy more easily than we create, Wind. Remember that.

And yes, China is a VERY militaryish country.

That I\'ll agree with. They\'ve got over a billion people, so any kind of dent they put in their millitary could easily be replaced. They wouldn\'t want to go to war with us, however, since most of their income comes from us. Same with Japan- they couldn\'t go to war even if they wanted to, anyways. They\'re more about the handheld luxury market rather than the \"Big Boomski\" department. Their millitary is shitty. End of story.

Reality swirled in a wholly blue manner, revealing absolutely nothing of merit. Things flashed madly in and out of existence like some entirely other sort of phenomena. On a whim, Kurt Vonnegut imploded, taking a sizeable hunk of Massachusetts with him. However, seeing as Massachusetts wasn't entirely sure it existed, the chunk wasn't all that big.

Well, you do know what they say, \"The bigger they are, the harder they fall!\"

personally, being chinese i find this a little offensive, but if i get harsh forgive me. first off, you cannot just assume a \"what if\" question. you need proof that they even do have a grudge on the U.S. If china really DID do something to attract a war, the news wouldn\'t ever keep it a secret from the public. Second, if china really DOES do something, then fine, we can wage war on them, but so far none of these statements can be legitimately proven to the fact that we should be greatly worried of our safety from the chinese.
also, your statements about the chinese army are very dramatic. The u.s. has stealthy night hawks equipped with some of the latest technology with strength equivalent to that of 2-3 typical bombers and yet, we dont see people cringe in fear of the U.S. blowing their heads off.one last thing, this book about Red China, is there anyway that you could prove to me more that your simple\" friend from the net\" even gave you the book in the first place? why would china publish a book to the public about how they wish to dominate the U.S.? And MegaX. exe, if you are going to post on a political topic, try saying something USEFUL and not a saying a phrase you heard from a lame cartoon.
