after a hard day at the evil fortress he comes home, sits in his chair, gets the remote, and watches the news while eating a taco.

Yeah right. Bass and wife and kids? Sure... who in the right of their mind would think that?

Well, he\'s tired of getting orders from Wily, but still wants to beat the crap outta Mega, so he sets out on a journey to become stronger and more skilled. He probably has found a scientist or really smart @$$ (maybe even a kid) who upgrades his parts. That goes on and on and on with the lineage of that one smart@$$, up to somewhere in 22XX, around the time of the Zero series. Hey, we haven\'t seen him since the end of TOS, eh?! He isn\'t a Reploid, basically, but maybe his upgrades made him one. He might even become a boss in the Zero series!

now i think of it

the Absolute Zero armor from Megaman X Command Mission looks a lot like Bass with Treble-boost.

Maybe a part of Bass was installed in Zero before he was put online. offcourse he was shomn to Bass but then he wasn\'t operational yet. between the Original and the X-series Wily destroyed or dismantled Bass to use a bit for Zero so even after Wily\'s death he could destroy Megaman

Bass is not relate to X, Zero, and Legends series. I think you misunderstood. Bass is for original and exe series only.;)

And since X, Zero and probably Legends series as well, come later than TOS in the same timeline (not sure about Legends), he CAN, logically enough, show up there.

Erm...The Original, X and Zero series are all related...so yeah, Bass is related to those series wether you like it or not.

And for where he could be...Wily most likely had enough of of him and decided to deactivate him or something...
