Yeah, Bass wasn\'t in that one. I don\'t think they even made it to MM5 in the plot--and Bass came into the games in MM7.
OfflineEssentially, canon translates to mean that it\'s the yardstick something is measured by.
Canon: What Capcom deems as truth, as part of the Megaman storylines/series/etc.
For example: Megaman 1-8 are deemed canonical by Capcom and the general public, so all that happened in those games are part of Megaman\'s true storyline.
The US Megaman cartoon by Ruby Spears is NOT canon, Capcom doesn\'t recognize it as such. Bob N George is NOT canon, all fanfics are NOT canon, the rumor your friend told you about Protoman being Zero is NOT canon. They\'re all just made-up stories and should not be thought of as truthful in any way. You just look like an idiot if you think the \"cataclysm\" is canon.

BTW, I was 12 when i first came here. I made this topic when I 12, too...crazy. However, being 12 is no excuse for even bringing NG\'s \"movie\" into this.
When i first came here I knew better than to do something like that...mainly because HT would call me something. But, I learned from my mistakes.

As far as the MegaMan Classic series goes, Bass is still alive. He\'ll continue to remain alive until Capcom decides to kill him off for good.
But X-series and beyond? Nobody knows. Like the other classic characters, Bass has mysteriously disappeared. Capcom seems to have totally forgotten about him and the others, so there\'s really no answer we can give you. We\'ll just have to assume they all died somehow.
