Fred Durst, frontman for nu-metal band Limp Bizkit, seems to have become the second victim of the Paris Hilton hacker.
The singer\'s personal computer was hacked into and video footage of he and a former girlfriend having sex was stolen, it has been alleged.
In a $80m lawsuit against websites hosting the images, Durst\'s manager alleges that he was approached by someone claiming to have obtained the material from the same source who hacked Paris Hilton\'s phone.
\"The plaintiff\'s manager, still thinking that no such video existed outside the plaintiff\'s own computer, maintained contact with this third party in order to flush out exactly what [he] had,\" the court order states.
\"He did so until February 25 2005, at which point he advised the plaintiff\'s manager that the same individuals who had hacked into Paris Hilton\'s cellphone had hacked into the plaintiff\'s computer to steal the video therefrom and had placed still photos from the video on the internet.
\"On or about February 25 2005 the defendants started showing still photographs from the video and advertising the complete video.\"
The US secret service is currently investigating this and the Paris Hilton case, the court papers reveal. The 29 year-old singer claimed that the publication of the videos would cause him \"harm, humiliation, embarrassment and damage\".
Gawker, one of the websites being sued, stated: \"We don\'t know why you\'re so mad at us.
\"Someone sent us a link to a video of your penis, we went into shock, and we shared it with the world for about two hours. Then we wept, found God, took a hot bath, and removed the video from our site.\"
