Topic: One Ring to rule them All, One Ring to Find Them
One Ring to Bring them all and in America Bind them

I\'ve already seen that picture. Didn\'t see it as terribly funny then, not even near that much now.
Did you know that that picture could be legitamate? You can actually buy gold rings with the elven script engraved in them from LoTR fan shops etc.?
If it is, you could take it either of three ways:-
The first way is that he is a Dark Lord who invades other countries and occupies them. To one point of view, he has done such in Iraq.
The second way is that he\'s an idiot. He believe the Lord of the Rings, and he actually believes that wearing that ring will give him extra power in war, so he cannot lose the war in Iraq.
The third way in very unimaginative. He is merely a fan of the story and wants to show that he likes the story.
I believe the second theory.
I knew it! The president IS evil...
I bet he would become dictator if we gave him a chance... >.>
This my signature area... mine, yes.. so... stuff.
I don\'t know much abot LotR, but I just find it funny that he\'d be a fan of it and wear \"the\" ring.
George Bush IS married, that could be his wedding band, its on his left hand.
Fight, Megaman! For everlasting peace! ~ :o
Plus look at his hand with the ring, the middle finger is spread slightly apart, the one in the picture is not.:P

Necro, don\'t be so blunt, they\'ll make anti-Necro websites.
It does seem to be a weird picture.
Off-topicish: If you look at the fingers close enough, it looks as if Bush is flipping the camera off. XD
The shading of the ring close-up and overall picture do not match at all. Someone took a picture of the ring, cut it out, and superimposed it onto a pic of someone\'s hand, or GW\'s hand. Not to mention, in the reflection in the close-up ring, you can see a hand reaching for ring.. further suggesting that the image of the One Ring was cut from a screenshot.

No, we\'re all a bunch of souless, heartless robots that can\'t tell comedy from a dead cat.
o hay
I share it, but only because of a previous bitter feud with dumbass americans.
I don\'t think Dubya wearing \"the ring\" is anti-american though... But I\'m sure some twat thinks it is. You\'re a terrorist, AirMan. TERRORIST!
Well actually, Juno..anti-american usually means anti-american -government- in this day and age.
Course, some other countries do generalize and think all americans act like the ones on the telly, or the tourists that come to their countries.. But hey, it\'s human nature to generalize. Americans generalize with the Canadian \"eh\" stereotype (and the beer, plaid, and hockey..even though the hockey one is true) and the French \"surrender\" stereotype (and the berets, and the horizontal bar shirts, and the ascots, and the cigarette smoking, and the snobs..even though the snob thing is true).
Just be really courteous, nice, and accepting of your fellow man, Juno..and maybe people won\'t notice you\'re american.
And I have a word for you too: KUSO!
Yes, it\'s true. American\'s complain about their government, whether they vote or not.
But I don\'t care. I think Japan\'s the best country in the world!
