I think you are thinking of Donkey Kong, the game.

There\'s nothing wrong with the NES. Just because it\'s \"old\" and has \"bad\" graphics doesn\'t mean it\'s crap or anything.

I\'ve never played Kid Icarus, but that\'s one of those infamous games...

I played it! It\'s one of the few I actually have played.. Hold on. Scratch that. I think the one I played was a version for the GameBoy. Way to many jumping puzzles for me though... and spike pits... and Medusas\' heads on the wall. Or was that an old Castelvania? Eh, it was a while back.

But yes, I remember the game.

It\'s been like 12 years ago I rented the game for a week. I made it to world 3 within that time.

I agree! NES has some of the most famous (and infamous) games of all time! Nothing can ever top it.

And I\'ve never really played Kid Icarus, but all I know is that it runs on an engine similar to the Adventure of Link, and that The main character (Pit, was it?) was really close to getting into Smash Bros. Melee.

Kid Icarus was released the same time as the first Metroid, as something of a \'sister game\' to it. Both introduced the then-new password system for saving, and were side scrolling adventure games.

Oh, I loved that game, I beat it like twice, and I agree with the Doc, The eggplant wizards were.....Weird to say the least...
