The only new things we know is that you can download ALL old school Nintendo games NES SNES and N64 and play them. lets see Nintendo said it'll be "two to three times as powerful as the gamecube" with is another letdown seeing that Sony said that the PS3 is around 30 times as powerful as the PS2 and Xbox 360 is around 15 times as powerful as normal X box.
Got a few things to comment out in that sentence:
- Nintendo said that the main, juicy details about the Revolution will come out a few weeks AFTER E3. You'll have to wait a bit more!
- I don't think they said that you could download ALL of the older games: I would expect this to work on Nintendo's own games only, and maybe some third-party titles. Also, this could be a paying service... Licensing issues could be hard to solve for them.
- Don't believe the Sony marketing crap: it comes out with every new system they do, and it's wrong most of the time. ("The PS2 can render Toy Story in real time", anyone?)
My main point here: wait until we know a bit more before being let down: we didn't even see the controller of that console yet!
