Hello!

I am having a little difficulty, here. You see I have two Nirvana CDs (Nevermind and In Utero) and I want to make a compilation album of the best songs of both of them on it. However, it won\'t fit. Now, I\'m aware that I could easily make an MP3 disc and play it on my DVD player, but I don\'t want to. I want to play it on my CD player. It would only have 14 tracks on it.

Most of the tracks are alright. The problem is that two of the tracks (All Apologies and Something In The Way) were at the end of the albums and they have about half an hour and then an end-song-thing (basically where there\'s a space of nothing then theres a song). Anyway, these songs are 20min35sec and 31min32sec. The actual songs are only about 2 minutes long! If I could cut the crap, and cut off everything but the 2-5min song, it would all fit. Is there a way to do this without spending a lot of money on a music-editing program?

Get a shorter version of something in the way and if you can\'t
download Audacity, open it up, select the part (the ending) that you want to clip and delete it, same goes with all apologies.
You could also just get a CD with a bigger capacity

I can\'t flippin stand it when bands put 10 minutes of nothing at the end of CDs. Marilyn Manson, Korn, Staind, Godsmack..I think even Orgy did something like that as well. Bah.

And Green Day put \"All By Myself\" at the end of Dookie. But that wasn\'t much of a gap and it was funny, anyway.
