This is kinda spammy.. I mean.. why would anyone come to this board if they DIDN\'T like Megaman, unless they\'re one of those stupid flamers?

I\'m sure this is because people lately have been talking about this a lot and someone said they don\'t like megaman anymore, so I\'m almost sure that\'s why this topic was made. I like megaman a lot but I don\'t live for it like one of my friends.

I am about 75% sure he knows the full script to every game by heart. And the music from every stage from megaman 1 up.

I just know the story and some of the cooler songs by heart, so I guess that makes me a good fan.

I like it a little too much methinks. I don\'t collect toys or models or trading cards or junk like that, but if you want to know why I hold my opinion that I am slightly fanatic, take a look at my risky financial decisions. For one, after playing \"Megaman 64\", the first Megaman game I\'d ever played, I decided it was the BEST GAME EVER. Based on this, I purchased a PS2, solely for the purpose of buying \"The Misadventures of Tron Bonne\". Later, to my delight, I learned Megaman Legends 2 existed as well, and, after playing it, found myself sadly at a loss for Megaman games. I\'ll confess that the X games just didn\'t interest me. Besides that, they\'re more difficult. Next I turned to the MMBN series, which was more entertaining and easier than the X series. Every day, I dedicate nearly all of my time on the computer this message board, oekaki site, and about 2 or 3 other sites. However, besides Sage\'s board occassionally, this is my only message board and my only oekaki board. And the only I\'ve ever joined.

Once, my brother and I considered buying a Rockman Dash manga book over EBay from Japan. We didn\'t, since that\'s about $20. Furthermore, my decision on buying a PSP sort of hinges on the development of the Rockman Dash series. Also, I am still contorting all 10 fingers into crosses hoping on the American release of Namco x Capcom, which would feature Megaman Legends characters. On another note, every year since I picked up MMBN2, my notebooks and drawings have been filled with my custom navis.

So I\'m a little obsessed. But only with the Legends series, and a little with Battle Network. It\'s not so bad.

I like Megaman. I don\'t obsess over the Blue Dweeb, I don\'t have a Megaman tattoo or some such. But I enjoy the games..

Oy, infact my (okay my brother\'s) collection consists of NES MM 1-6, SNES MM 7 X1-X3, PSX X4 - X6 MML 1 & 2 Anniv. Collection, Gameboy MM 1 - 5, two \'Xtreme\' games and the first Battle Network.

That\'s alot of Megaman crap. He also has a Megaman figure for every series, and we\'ve got X series playing cards as well. So yeah, I guess I was abit obsessive years ago or something. I surely am not now.. But I\'ll play X1 in a heartbeat, I love that game.

Why did you have to suck, Zero? You were so cool back in 1993.. Seriously..I know some of you thought he was a girl, but wasn\'t he awesome regardless? But I\'ve always liked the side characters. Like the green guy that doesn\'t say anything and explodes in X2..and well, Bass before he got a fanbase. ;P

But of course, I also liked the villains. Who couldn\'t love Wily? Well, hate him so much you enjoy his company. You need him there to drive your hatred. That\'s why Battle Network sucks now, no Wily. And Sigs..oh lovable jolly bald man Sigs. He always had a colorful cast of characters to help him..like Vile, Bit and Byte, Dynamo..Double.

That\'s the thing with games nowadays. Unfortunately they\'ve turned into \"movies\" and not \"stories you play\". Developers are always pushing the drama and action..or shock value. Megaman as he was can\'t exist in the VG world of today, and that\'s just sad. Games which are repetitive (hey..you can be the biggest MM fan ever and cannot deny the games are repetitive. Repetitive isn\'t bad, persay) and lacking in storyline just don\'t fly.

I guess that\'s why Zero has died so much and X has rampant character changes. Have you seen the godawful Battle Network anime? And how overdramatic it is? The games are the same, it really is a damn shame.

Maybe one day through fans or otherwise, there will be another enjoyable MM game that isn\'t riddled with plotholes (because of its lack of story), or has three playable characters, (you can only be the blue guy) or has swords, or overdramatic death scenes, or reploids with love interests... Maybe we\'ll be able to play Megaman again. But hey, until then we can play MM 5 til Pharaoh Man says \"ENOUGH ALREADY\".

And yes I just wrote an article, here. An article of my stance on Megaman I guess. I dunno how much I like Megaman personally, decide on your own.

However odd, Necro and I had a rousing game of MM Soccer today. I lost. ;P

If only I\'d been intelligent enough at the tender ages under 10 to pick up some OG Megaman games and the X series. Before I played Legends and decided Megaman was destined to be easy.:P

Well, I have played X5,X6, and X8. And I got tha OG Anniversary Collection for the Gamecube a while ago. But I\'m not so hot at any of em.

And true dat, \"Megaman NT Warrior\" is HORRIBLE. They butchered Bowlman, my favorite BN3 enemy, in animation quality worse than anything else. His head is WAY too big compared to the sprite. Also, that plotline was terrible. In MMBN3, he\'s a solo netnavi who quests for a challenging opponent. In the show, he\'s a punk bowling champion who gets a darkchip and decides he\'ll (somehow) bowl down buildings. The Kingman episode was terrible too. According to the episode, Kingman isn\'t even a custom navi. Furthermore, he challenges Megaman to CyberChess, which isn\'t even played a thing like real chess. Viruses in the show are terrible too. They come in ENORMOUS waves and are all deleted just as easily as eachother, which coincidentially is about 1 shot per virus. They even made up poor quality navis such as NoodleMan, in order to fill up episodes. Not to mention they keep changing all the names...(Wackoman, Torchman, etc.)...

I\'m starting to foam at the mouth so I\'ll stop. But yeah, the show really is a malevolent factor of the Battle Network series.

Megaman is cool.

Well, I guess everyone here has their oppinions on Megaman, and mine usually aren\'t shared by many other people; I\'m a rabid MegamanZero fan. (And those who know me know of my love for Harpuia XD) And it always seems like the X games I like are the ones no one else likes. I personally can\'t stand the EXE games or the NT warrior show- probably something to do with my age and that all the characters are little kids. But throwing BN aside, I\'ll say I\'m a huge Megaman fan, and will defend it \'til the day I die. No, I don\'t have a lot of merchandise, (although my fiance does, and that\'s good enough for me!) Although I did just come into possession of a Gaia Armor model, a Shadowman figurine, and some cards, courtesy of the oekaki contest XD But hey, it\'s not that possessions so much- isn\'t drawing it and writing it enough? XP

What X games do you like, Rioni? I hate X4 and everyone else seems to love that godawful piece of crap.

Favorite X games? Well, I\'m with you; I really didn\'t like X4. I love X5... and my favorite\'s X6 ^_^;; I may just get flamed for saying that, lol. Don\'t get me wrong, I love the original three, but I don\'t actually have them, so maybe I\'m just going from the ones I\'ve really played a lot.

wow people talking about fav X games makes me want to say X5 fro life but they should have stuck with it and not made no dang X6 with the statement \"I hid myself while I repaired myself\" that made me laugh so hard...But X6 is not a bad game I guess just a horrid translation. and by the way X3 is right up with my most loved X games as well.

I really really like Mega-Man:D!! It is the best game in the universe!!

I don\'t like Megaman at all to tell the truth.......the only game I ever played of Megaman that I liked was MMX:CM....the rest of the games I find really boring and repetitive.......I hate the Megaman Legends games, I\'d sooner play Pokemon then play them.......MM NT Warrior is the stupidest show I\'ve ever watched.....so what I\'m trying to say is Megaman sucks ass....which is why I\'m leaving this message board and never coming back.....I found a much better one out there that really suits my tastes better than this one.......and It\'s alot better of a message board too....more people go there and the topics are more interesting.....goodbye Interordi.....stupid Megaman:lol:

Hey, we can\'t help it if a person doesn\'t like Megaman all of a sudden... but still, it\'s just bad form to blast before leaving.

At least he didn\'t tell us which board he\'s going to. Somebody would probably have something to retort about it.

And really, it\'s especially stupid to target MML as a game you\'d never play cause you didn\'t like the others, considering it\'s a completely different game from the original style of Megaman. Not to insult that style, of course.

And Pokemon GBA games aren\'t bad, it\'s just most of the other stuff that\'s gotten crummy. Really, there\'s no reason to hate any series. Just don\'t play it.
