Real Name: Sta\' R. Shinobi
CodeName: Razor StarSlash
Description: Sta\' is a tall, thin reploid who\'s body is designed to resemble a starfish, as his arms and legs make four of the star points, with his head at the base of the fifth point, which extends up enough for all five \"starfish legs\" to be equal in length when he transforms into his flight/attack mode, in which the segmented peices of his arms and legs lock together and straighten out into a flat star-wise shape. Mostly teal in color, the very sharp edges of his star-like points are outlined in silver. His arms are capable of extension. His swift movement and ability to transform into a throwing blade himself have earned him his place as the leader of a group of expert assasins, called the Shinobi Stars, in his honor. Along with him as the leader, he has five main cohorts whom are the deadly \"Five Points of the Shinobi Star\". They are often the ones who make decisions within the clan with the consent of Sta\' himself, when they\'re not enforcing his will. The Shinobi Stars are a group of \"honorable\" assassins who see fit to \"destroy\" those who are truely evil with swift silence. However, after becoming mavericks, the Shinobi Stars have gone completely out of control, becoming nothing more than bloodcrazed mercenaries.
Element: Metal/Blade
Weakness: Freezing attacks. Preferrably one where the charged attack is a widescreen effect.
~Special Attacks~
Binary Stars- A play off of the astrological term, Sta\' creates a solid clone of himself. The only difference between the two is that the fake is slightly dimmer in color, but this becomes impossible to tell in dark areas, where he usually fights.
Five Points- Sta\' waves his arm, and five energy-stars will converge on the enemy\'s current location from various directions.
Deadly Strike- Sta\' leaps into the air and transforms into his flight/attack mode, whizzing across the area at hyper speeds in an attempt to slice you on the fly-by. (In a 3D game, he would alternate between flying horizontally or vertically, so you would dodge by either jumping over him or skidding to the side. Like the secret boss in Agrabah from Kingdom Hearts.) NOTE: Sta\' is invincible during this attack.
Phase Out- Sta\' fades into the shadows of his lair.
Extended Reach- His arms can extend, and the sharp segments of the star-legs can cut through enemies as he swings.
Attack Pattern:
~2D game~
Sta\' starts off standing still, and doesn\'t move until you attack him. At which point, he disappears fading into the shadows. While he is hidden, you will be under fire from the Five Points attack, exactly five times. Then he re-appears. You can avoid the stars if you use that charged-up, widescreen freezing attack I told you you needed. Sta\'s cloaking system will malfunction from the cold and he\'ll appear, having taken damage, no less! Anywho, after he re-appears, he will randomly pick between doing this again, or switching to his Deadly Strike mode, whizzing across the room at various altitudes so you must either jump over him or dash/duck beneath him. He can also throw his extending arms at the ceiling, and then yank them back towards him, causing peices of the ceiling to fall. (He can also just hurl these arms at you.) After his health gets low enough, he will use the Binary Stars move to create a clone, who will perform Deadly Strike in synch with Sta\', whizzing across the room from opposite directions, usually with only a thin space with which to avoid them.
X: X will get the \"Five Points\" weapon, which picks the nearest enemy and has five stars converge on it\'s position from offscreen. Charged up, this attack does nearly the same thing. Except the stars converge at the very center of the screen, are much larger, and the attack repeats 5 times for a total of 25 stars in all. (Widescreen effect)
Zero: Zero gets the Shinobi Dash, It\'s like a non-electrical version of the Ryukousen (X8\'s lightning dash), also, Zero performs the cut WHILE he is invisble, not after he appears.
Axl: Axl gets the Homing Star, which fires off a large, glowing star. The movement of the star can be controlled to a certain degree. (Think Magnet Mine)
Plot Scenes.
-The Five Points-
You will have to fight the five main sub-leaders of Sta\'s group as you go through his stage. After you defeat each one, you will get a peice of a sad tale from them, (As their inevitable death brings them back from the craze of the virus.) You will learn that they were once a clan of honorable assassins who only killed those who were truly worthy of death, and how this all changed when Sta\' contracted the Maverick Virus, which quickly spread to all his subordinates. After the final Star Point has been defeated, he will beg you to retire Sta\' as well, to free him from the ravages of the Maverick Virus.
-Razor StarSlash-
After defeating StarSlash, he\'ll ask the hero why they bothered to come and find him. After they inform Sta\' about the promise they made to the Fifth point, StarSlash will tell them how impressed he is with their strength and resolve. After that, it\'s different for each character.
X
Sta\' goes on to sort of comfort X in his actions, telling him that he should never doubt what he does because Sta\' is certain that he (X) will \"save us all\". This will sort of be an emotional moment for X, at which point Sta\' will proceed to die. X will kneel at his remains and thank him for his kind words, saying something along the lines of \"I needed to hear that\", and be on his way, taking the Five Points attack with him.
Zero
Sta\' will inquire about the rumors behind Zero\'s history as a maverick, and Zero will confirm all of which is true. Sta\' will chuckle a bit and tell Zero he has a strong heart and mind, and that he (Sta\') does not beleive he will ever go truely maverick again. He goes on to say that Zero should continue to grow stronger, so that when he dies, Sta\' can fight him again on \"The other side.\" Sta\' will then proceed to die and Zero will leave, having access to the Shinobi Dash.
Axl
Sta\' will be speechless for a second, and then gather up enough of his resolve to ask Axl if he was a maverick, too... like all the other new-age reploids. Axl will tell him that he\'s a Hunter, not a Maverick, and Sta\' will heave a sigh of releif, glad that he was not defeated by \"A lowly maverick\". Axl will comment about how Sta\' himself was just a maverick. Sta\' will laugh and admit that Axl is right, and will then ask his forgiveness as he proceeds to die. Axl will then leave with the Homing Star weapon.
