welllll gaw damn... i\'m all up for Nintendo and their revolution making... but that controller is one huge leap in another direction.. it\'s a tv controller!

Well, it pretty much made me go \"wtf?\" when I first saw it...and it still makes me do that. Seriously, I\'m not sure I\'ll be getting the Revolution now. According to the article, FPS games work fine and I guess that\'s cool for Metroid Prime. But I\'m not entirely sure for other games...=/

Yeah it LOOKS like a remote....but that does not mean it ACTS like one...didn\'t you take the time to read what you can do with that little thing. high tech motion sensors man. Think of a sword fighting game and you now have the sword, or a FPS or a survival horror game where you are the character you have the gun you aim you survive. sports games you are the player. do you not see the revolution in this thing

And doc the revolution might not be the most powerful next gen system, but then again it might be right on par with them, we\'ll never know till we see it in action.

Gosh, just imagine! Playing a horror FPS like Resi or Doom, and being scared silly. THen it\'ll be like your IN the game, trying to keep your gun steady!

I\'m reminded of the Philips CD-I.. I can\'t judge the thing yet but it does look odd. Also looks comfortable though..as of late, controllers have been a PAIN IN THE ASS. Especially the X-box ones..the \'small\' ones cause pain in my hands since they\'re so awkward. This definitely looks small enough, but not so small that you\'ll lose it in the sofa cushions.

Edit: And oh, they mentioned how they\'ll have \"shells\" and \"ports\" where you can hook stuff up.. I don\'t plan on getting a Revolution at all really, but damn..will all the controller accessories cost a bundle?

A Stick?

A stick looking thing with a thumb pad not even one the remote looking thing.......That controller may look cool to ya\'ll but to me it looks real stupid.I mean yeah it looks cool but the thumb pad needs a wire to move it around?That sounds stupid.....I\'d rather stick with the PS3 as Black Dranzer.exe said.

When I saw it, I was like \"Ddduuuuuuuuuddeeeee!!!!!!!!!\"!:lol: Actually, for games like smash bro\'s, there will most likely be controllers that you plug the remote into to play. That way it can \'transform\', and play standard non fps type games. I am getting PS3 and the Revolution. I will most likely get PS3 first, though.

Gameplay possibilities? I got your stinkin\' gameplay possibilities.

--Swing the controler, swing your sword, and your char. could mimik the exact movement, not just a genaric slash.

--Conduct a band with the swish swish.

--Go fishing. Honestly, can you imagine how this would improve, say, Animal Crossing?

--FPS...\'nuff said. You could shoot from the hip, and the game would know it.
