Fourteenth anniversary!
Site news, by Dr. Cossack on 6 May 2014 at 12:29

Get your party hats and confetti, for the Mega Man PC Website: Dr. Cossack's Lab is 14 years old as of today! This has been a good year for Mega Man, as for the first time in four years no games have been cancelled! Re-releases have been the way to go for players, including the currently running Mega May on Nintendo's eShop. Many of us are also looking forward to the release of the latest Super Smash Bros., with Mega Man as a playable character. Keep an eye on the forums if you'd like to play online with others when the time comes!

Site work has been slow due to little happening with the franchise and some ongoing work in the background. Many regular players have jumped on our Minecraft server on the Creeper's Lab, are you part of them?

Thank you for dropping by, no matter if this is your first visit or you've been here since day one!

MMBN3 for Wii U confirmed, more to come
Battle Network Series, by Dr. Cossack on 28 April 2014 at 16:24

The rumor has been floating for a few days, but is now official: Capcom will be bringing Mega Man Battle Network 3 White and Blue to Nintendo's Wii U console. No release date is known at this point, but more GameBoy Advance games are expected to be available on the console in the future. This will make the first time that the core Battle Network games appear on a system other than the GBA or Nintendo DS.

List of PC games update
Site news, by Dr. Cossack on 18 March 2014 at 23:23

I have updated the master list of PC games available, mostly to remove links that went dead in the past few years. Most of the games are now rather difficult to buy, eBay being one of the best options to find them.

If any of you have information on alternative online stores selling Mega Man games, I'd appreciate it if you could let me know!

The future of the oekaki board
Site news, by Dr. Cossack on 11 February 2014 at 10:37

I've posted today an announcement on the oekaki board looking at its current state and future options, especially now that Java applets running in the browser are being gradually phased out. I'd appreciate it if all interested artists took the time to read that announcement then shared their thoughts as a comment in this news post.

I built the oekaki board and community for you. Comments and suggestions are always welcome!
