An idea popped into my mind today, and I'd like to get some feedback on it.

My latest story. And this time it it a Megaman X story! I had this idea boiling in my mind for at least six years. A long time ago, I decided to FINALLY work on a project that I had in my head since I was 8.

The 493 is a gallery focusing on minimalistic art based around the current 493 pokemon. It's a constant WIP but I have over 100 wallpapers already set up and try to update it daily. It's become a success overnight, being listed on alot of different news sources.

A pokemon website I help run, PLDH.net is making a news announcement revealing a project I've been working on: The Isshu wallpaper gallery. I'm launching with 3 wallpapers, with another one coming every month. The default resolution is 1920x1080 since OS's seem to have little problems scaling down, and it's a fairly large resolution. I'll be releasing new sizes as time goes on.

Brahaman, a guy involved in remaking the MMPC games into 8-bit capcom graphics, is doing a good job so far.

I am not sure if this is the right thread for this, but the purpose that I did, is because they could use some support. Either cheering them on, or if someone can actually spend some time helping them.

I've been working on a story for an original manga over the past few years, and I finally have it fully outlined. It's certainly inspired by Mega Man, so I figure that this is a good place to post it. I know that some of the people around here can draw rather well, so I'm extending the opportunity.

The goal is to publish it as a sort of webcomic, consisting of illustrations with captions. I'm also open to other ideas.

In December of 1987 the first of a large and growing video game series was released. I am, of course, speaking of the first MegaMan :) Yes, that's right, 1987. I stumbled upon a very well done playable NES rendition of Mega Man 7. It contains almost all of the stages, bosses and music from the SNES original game, only it's all been NESified. It's definitely worth a look. Controls take some getting use to (what PC game doesn't). Big credit for the creator!

Controls:

X = Shoot(Hold for Charge shot)
Z = Jump
Down + X = Slide
A/S = Swap Weapons

I need some high-res original (or good doujin) MM art and some ideas to do a skin for my laptop. I'll be carrying this thing to college classes, so I want it to look unique and professional. I'm not adamant on any specific characters or series, so throw me whatever you find. The service that I'm using to get it wants some pretty big images to use, and REALLY big ones to look good. Ultra-high resolution wallpapers would work, but I want to be original.
