Oh yes, on the note of sexual innuendo in Megaman games, I do believe there is one thing that pretty well qualifies. A lot of people already know about this. We discussed it over at the Legends Station board:

This is the Japanese artwork. On the license plate of the support car is the number \"69\" pretty plainly. Now, I wouldn\'t hold this up as an example if it weren\'t for the fact that when CoA used the artwork for the English version, they changed the license plate to \"ROCK&ROLL.\" This is very sloppy when you consider that Megaman isn\'t even Rockman in the English version.

But that\'s the only one I know for sure.:P

Well, see, I know it\'s the Japanese name. It\'s just that they only put the Japanese name on the English artwork, which seems sloppy to me. But if what Doc says is true, and there has been American exposure to the name \"Rockman,\" then I guess it makes more sense.

But still, I don\'t believe they ever use that name throughtout English Legends.

Let's try going through a list of robot master names and figuring out just what could be wrong with each of them.

Bomb Man could be slapped by Jack Thompson.
Guts Man could be sickening to look at.
Fire Man could be claimed to have a misleading name.
Cut Man looks slightly reminiscent of Iron Man, and thus could be sued on the grounds of copyright infringement.
Ice Man could be sued for copyright infringement of the name.
Elec Man could also be sued on the basis that it looks too much like some superhero.

A lot of things could go wrong if you think too hard, y'know.

I personally prefer to NOT have a dirty mind.
