Because sometimes you are not on, and we can suffer from Spam attacks, or someone needs help fast, you can\'t take care of all of the problems right now and so on....

what is the difference between admin and moderator?

Admin can ban, give people the power to be admins/mods, or even make the MB disappear. Mods generally work to keep spam under control by locking topics that don\'t need to go any further (\"flame\" wars, spam fests, or any discussion that just doesn\'t need to be around).

DAMN klez virus in my computer!!umm...from experience i think the moderators watch over the board move topics to the right places and stuff...say doc do we have any moderator right now?...personally i don\'t think we need moderators right now....then again you never know.

Why do I see this at almost every board, people asking to be mods and such? It never showed up here last time, but if you ask me, Doc\'s doing a great job moderating and stuff by himself. Well, I don\'t know if he has done any editing yet, but that\'s not the point.. it really doesn\'t look like he even needs any help.

It\'s actually pretty petty to be some newbie, and immediately try to get power. People like that tend to go on power trips, and act holier than thou. It\'s not right.
