I often find less and less people using forums and chat rooms since 2003. And wondered if I'm the only one noticing this.

I wouldn't say that because less people using forums and chatrooms to communicate means the internet is dying. People are just finding other ways to communicate. That being said, I wouldn't know if they're declining. IO and Project Epsilon are the only forums I really frequent.

No. Next question?
... Seriously though, I definitely not think that it's the case. While chatrooms might be less used than a few years ago, instant messaging is still popular, and community websites keep growing and growing (MySpace, Facebook and others). More information and services are moving online as well.

That's not happening. This site, being MegaMan oriented, is simply stuck between games and topics now - with the switch to Star Force coming, there wasn't a realease or won't be around now, when BN was getting ready to come out. After that, a Zero or ZX game would come out and fuel us for who-knows-how-long, until the next release.
Even still, I think this site is doing fine, and the Internet isn't dying. I check things out here every day, and I'm an almost frequent NSider now that those forums have some worthwile things to read. Once my friend and his coding partner finish their site, I get to dive into moderating there.
Mach Jentra: I heard you were dead.
Zero: You know me - never say 'die.'
Myspace called, it said lay off those shiny pills.
To say the internet is dying is probably the biggest joke i've ever heard. I've seen as many a fifty GUESTS just on here. And I can show you some other forums that prove my theory. People aren't just not using the internet. They just are using sites like Myspace to talk instead of stuff like Inti.
Hey beautiful people, you're better off trying to e-mail me than message me on here.
There is a myriad of things that the internet can be used for. The possiblity of the internet falling into obscurity like so many Betamax tapes is extremely low, and I believe that society will be using the internet and it's many reincarnations for future generations to come.
In an ordinary day I check Fox news for information on any current events, use E*trade to check my various stocks, log into Myspace to keep in contact with school friends, and search Wikipedia for any history on things that pop into my head. I also created my own country on Nationstates.net, which I check regularly. Not to mention the few forums that I go to.
Also...well...those in the know are privy to a certain form of media that many desperate men collect. A lucrative business, indeed!
Well no offense but he sounds as stupid as you were a few years back Mega X so no wonder he probably worships that channel.
;D
Don't be surprised when I cause this to happen to your internet, Hollow.

So, is that picture supposed to be a hotlink-denied picture?
The internets isn't dead, it's just sleeping in that parachute.

The jackassity level has reached an unprecedented height in this topic.
About...the morality of the internet.
Perhaps that was the entire joke?
I doubt that there are many forum members that could possess the intricate thought processes needed for such a joke!

I think that this topic has outlasted it's usefulness.
