The oldest members still around to this day might remember that, a long time ago, I used to follow the Mega Man news and report them on the front page of the Mega Man PC Website: Dr. Cossack's Lab. However, the Great Crash of 2002 forced me stop as I needed to free up my time to rebuild the website and focus on related activities. Well, after all this time, it's time to get the ball rolling again!

However, this time around, I'm looking for some help to make this happen. While I track several sources every week, some of you most likely have different sources of information that can also reveal new details about existing and future Mega Man products. What I'm looking for consists of a few people interested in searching the web to report the news on the front page of the website. Ideally, we should do more than report what's being said on other Mega Man websites: it's possible to look for Capcom's press releases and others to find our own content. The involved peope would also have access to updating the release dates so we can make them as current as possible.

As I have fairly high standards in news reporting (I want facts, not rumors or suppositions), I wish to make sure that you understand what I'm looking for exactly. As such, I have a little test for you to pass. Some days ago, we learned that a new Mega Man Legends game was coming out on cellphones in Japan. What I want you to do is to write an actual news post about it, the way you would have done it if you already had access to the news of the website. Send me your article through a private message so that I can review it.

I'll give you two weeks or so to get back to me about this. Also, if you're already part of the staff and are interested in doing this, don't hesitate to apply!

The time has come and gone, and it's time to move forward. Mr.Mettaur will now be part of the staff as news reporter! You can read the details on the news item I posted a few minutes ago.

In fact, I highly suggest to everyone to keep a closer eye on the news from now on, as they'll be updated more often! You also get to follow the website's updates that way!

Congrats Mr.Mettaur. You have now entered the world of fast paced action of jumping over fences, hiding under coffee tables, and masquerading as trees in order to get the scoop of the day! ^^;

Considering that Mr. Mettaur seems to have vanished into thin air, I'm considering getting one or two extra news reporters. My requirements haven't changed from the first post in this topic. This isn't really a time-eating task considering that Capcom hasn't been throwing us many bones lately, but I still want to emphasize that I like people who are able to keep their duties in mind and are able to commit for a decent period of time. In short, this means: please don't start randomly forgetting about your position for months at a time. Some of the current staff members don't show up often, but I know that they don't forget about my expectations about them.

I see where you're coming from with this, but I'm not a big fan of video interviews on the Internet: the slow pacing over a simple text interview annoys me. As such, since I wouldn't be looking often for new content, I'd run out of videos very quickly. I can understand how it could be interesting, though!
