Heat Man of the Mega Man Network has gone ahead and graciously translated the sixteen page manga included with the Mega Man 9 OST. This baby was done by Hitsohi Ariga and, as you can expect, earns Mega Man 9 a Level in Badass. Enjoy!

Wow. Ariga-san must have been dying to get back to use old characters to bring these out of nowhere. If you had told me that I'd be seeing new drawings of his versions of the classic six Robot Masters in 2008, I wouldn't have believed you.
As you'd say, this is awesome. Serisouly, I'm a bit speechless. It feels like we've gone back in time, and that is NOT a bad thing.

I think you're confusing this legitimate manga with that pile of dog crap.
Yeah, the Ariga mangas have been pretty cool since the beginning. Kinda odd sometimes, not exactly what you'd expect (look at his version of Wily), but still neat. Don't compare it with some of the crappy stuff that showed up in more recent years!

I love Ariga's design for Wily as well as some of the mannerisms he was given. You get a sense that, in a realistic manner, Wily basically scrounges for parts and recycles his old robots. It'd be great if it turned out that Light and Wily could actually stand to agree with each other on their opinion toward the new robot law.
OfflineI hate how Ariga draws robots, and always have. Some douchebag on another board says he likes the "realism" of it, and how the robots look "metal". Then okay if they're so metal how do they have folds in their legs right above their feet? And why are there pointless rivets in the wrong places (okay that's usually on the covers only)
It's just annoying to see all the fanwank over it when it's not that great. Beside that though, Ariga draws humans pretty well...ZOMG CHARLIE!
I can't believe I didn't see this before. It's absolutely beautiful... Makes me wish Ariga had the freedom to write the whole MM saga into a series.
When is the next chapter at least, gonna be available? I have always enjoyed Arigas work.

Word is that Ariga is doing a new manga, Rockman Gigamix. I haven't found any details yet, just an announcement over at Rockman Perfect Memories.
Any word on Arigas website, cause last time I checked, not everything was working. There was even mention that updates were not active enough.
Or is this just lousy info that I found?
