Lucas Gilbertson, current voice of Zero, redubs Iris's death from Mega Man X4. Too bad Mark Gatha is a doctor now-this game could've used some more manliness. And, hey, the redub's not so bad either.

The scene is still as corny as ever. Much better voice work though, but tell you the truth, I didn't mind Zero's original voice for X4 either. I don't think it was as bad as people say it was.

And Mark Gatha does an awesome X. If he's going to be a doctor, I doubt we'll hear anymore from him. That's a real shame. Hopefully they find someone who can just do a good Mark Gatha X impression.

If you liked that, you might like this. Somebody actually made a hack add-on for the PC version of X4 and replaced the original in-game voice work for Zero and X with ripped sounds from more previous games such as Command Mission and X8, and inserted them in-place of the original voice sounds of X4, featuring Lucas Gilbertson as Zero and Mark Gatha as X.

Ah, that was Hypershell from Mega Man Network, where I first found the link to this. It is a pretty cool mod.

Anyway, with better dialogue this scene could've worked out better, but it's still a jump over the original.
