Now..perhaps if Sonicboom wasn\'t so adamant in defending his \"I have a right to fondle pixels\" statements..and others arguing back that he\'s a \"big doodyhead\"..maybe these topics wouldn\'t turn into flamefests.

Uhh...First, I wouldn\'t describe any of these people as \"sexy\" or \"hot\", words which I don\'t think in terms of, but rather \"good-looking\" and \"attractive\". When I (as a guy) see an attractive/good-looking girl, I don\'t immediately think \"What a hot chick!\"; I think something more like \"First, are you sensible, smart, and resilient enough for me to like you, and if yes, then second, is it possible that you be my girlfriend?\" (Hey, for me, Lucca >> Marle and Rydia >> Celes.) And interestingly, many pictures that people describe as \"sexy\" don\'t appeal to me at all--I tend to immediately see them as ugly poses, even if you don\'t give me a description beforehand. In fact, pornography turns me OFF amazingly quickly. \"Revealing clothing\" (and nudity as well, logically) also makes a girl look less attractive, usually with the exception of a t-shirt and decent (i.e. not uber-short) shorts or a one-piece competition-style swimsuit (EDIT2: which, on the other hand, tend to make girls somewhat more attractive).

A number of these people I haven\'t even seen before, and of those I have seen, none of them make it to my \"attractive\" list. Anyhow, it\'s good to see that we still have new people who can present themselves intelligently. I don\'t exactly agree with all your opinions, (example: Any romance or suggestive themes, by this post, seem to turn you off) I understand what you mean. It\'s still good that you can take a strong stand on it.

Iris can be a very pretty lady if she\'s drawn right. Tifa I\'ve never thought of as sexy either, just cute.

I apologize if I tried to sound \"high and mighty\" in that post. I didn\'t. I just wanted to express my opinion, an opinion that not too many people I know seem to care about. Firs, perverted idiots can get on your nerve when they decide to sit around you and talk about something really disgusting, and they sure did get on my nerve. Second, I actually noticed that what I found attractive was noticeably different from the societal stereotype, and that\'s something one can say I\'ve been waiting to rant on for a long time. You can say that I\'m taking advantage of the fact that this is a message board, in that people might actually read my entire argument and not interrupt me halfway through.

And by the way, I don\'t have any problem with people thinking that fictional characters are good-looking/pretty/handsome/beautiful/hot, since I personally think that Lucca (from Chrono Trigger) and Rydia (from Final Fantasy IV) are attractive, while Roll.exe is quite pretty (\"sexy\" has some connotations/denotations I wouldn\'t like to get into, which is why I don\'t use it). In fact, I think it just happens that I\'ve never found any MM series girls attractive, but I do have my tastes in what looks nice or not, e.g. I think X looks a lot better in his generic blue armor than in any of his special armor sets.

But as SolarWarrior himself said a few posts back, he wouldn\'t want this to \"turn into a hentai topic\", and (in my judgement) it occasionally came close, such as with WindRider~\'s mention of Cammy\'s \"boobs jiggl[ing] alot [sic]\".

Now my point of emphasizing that some of these characters (e.g. Iris, Alia) are robots actually comes from seeing fanart of, well...Iris and Alia, but looking exactly (or almost exactly) like a typical human female in a bikini. That kind of drawing both (1) doesn\'t make it specially Iris- or Alia-based because you\'re pretty much drawing humans, and (2) just seems wrong (I mean, even Rock had robotic feet, even if he could uncover a human-looking torso under his shirt).

Actually, Iris and Alia aren\'t robots. They\'re reploids.

Megaman is a robot, but he was built as a house cleaning robot at first..so his appearance (as seen in the ending of Megaman 1, however funny it was) is based off a human boy.

He has \'skin\' on his arms, legs, face, and neck. We don\'t know about the other parts, thankfully. Some artists assume that perhaps he does have skin everywhere, and can take off his shirt and put on swim trunks to play out in the ocean, for example.

That\'s called \'artists interpretation\'. And frankly, I see nothing wrong with that. So what\'s wrong with drawing reploids..again, something none of us have factual data about (dealing with their skin anyways), looking like human beings?

Now I can see the complaint if there was proof of something.. There is proof that they have circuitry inside, at least, from the games. Proof that they \'bleed\'.

But if you\'re just angry about the fanart, there\'s no need to look at it. If it\'s a thumbnail that looks like Iris in a bikini, don\'t click it.

Oh, and I\'ve drawn Iris, Alia, and Berkana all naked before, and they did have human bodies. No one who\'s seen it has complained yet.

Things like Breasts, beards and deep voises are what signals your gender and age. It\'s how humans signal to others and others pick up who they are dealing with, that is the reason we have them (most of the time), just think about beards, this is what it is used foor. That\'s the sientific term for it.

Now to make sence: If women have large breasts, most people think \"That\'s a woman\", a flat chest makes you think, \"that\'s a girl\". I\'ts all about built in signals, wich may explain why some people prefeer... well... large breasts.
