Anyways, I know I defended the right to look at hentai earlier in this topic. But now, I have seen many cases where it has gone too far..and not just from people looking at hentai, but attractions to videogame and anime characters.

These people I know, are OLDER people..not in their 40s or anything, but old enough to know reality from uhh..unreality.

But they go out of their way to AVOID real relationships, because they have a videogame or anime girl, that is 'perfect for them'.. That frankly is quite scary. Maybe it's natural selection at work. The guys and girls with weak genes and such are getting attracted to fake characters now so they can never breed.

To me Hentei and fictional attractions have always been something to turn to when you've been on the comp. for a week and ran out of stuff to do, yet you really don't have anything else to turn to. So you go to a Hentai site. It's really nothing that bad. But to make it clear... I've been to a hentai site maybe like 2,3, or 4 times..... really not anymore. I have allready stated my views on this subject, but reacently, I've found the Hentai subject getting more and more annoying. For example, I was just at newgrounds waching some movies. While going through different arcives, at least 1-3 of the movies suddenly started showing hentai clips. Now I'm stuck with those ugly images in my head wich were forced there by some person who couldn't contain him/herself. I can't surf the web without having my screen attacked with this sort of thing, even when you have a decent popup-blocker they find some way of sending it.

I have no problem with what other people like, but people sending you things like this regardless weather or not the person receaving them approve or not is streching the limits a bit. I would set an example for my argument, but this is a very powerfull subject and won't compare against most things. Natural selection or not, you still need self controll and respect for other peoples vews.

As for the topic, I believe that it is natural for a person to be attracted to a man/woman.. Anime characters are meant to simulate people.. otherwise, they wouldn't draw people.. they'd draw blobs, or something.

Yes, anime characters (and all associated characters that are human, yet not real) are supposed to simulate people as you said. So I don't see the problem of getting turned on by them..
