Ok, so over the weekend, I finally rented X7 (renting it for a week is all I need).

I thought it rocked. The whole 3-d 2-d combo, and the nice visuals, and the wonderful abilities of our new family member, Axl.

I thought it was great. However, there are some discrepancies.

Despite my entire love for Megaman X, which is why I got into anime, I found that the sound sucked.


Especially the anime cutscenes, which sounded slightly muffled.

Furthermore, I also felt that some of the voices just sucked. Zero\'s voice was satisfactory, along with Red\'s, and Sigma\'s. But Axl sounded too much like a child (despite that he\'s supposed to), and X just sounded...pathetic.

I did however, like some of the visuals, although the final boss didn\'t look very graphically adept.

But here comes my personal peeves of this game.

Story. Not to rag on Capcom, but the story, and the Ending, just sucked.

Now that\'s just me. I thought it was a bit, underdone.

I wish it would delve more into Zero\'s past, or something like that.

And I\'m not trying to ruin it for other aspiring players, but, it did seem...I dunno, like they didn\'t think it all through.

But other than that, I thought the game was great. Hard also. Some of the bosses are incredible difficult, especially that stupid Snipe Anteator, which really ticked me off.

but, for those of you who really like it, tell me where this is from:

BURN THE GROUND!!! BURN! BURN! BURN!!!

AXL, CAN YOU HEAR ME?
ZERO, CAN YOU HEAR ME?
X, CAN YOU HEAR ME?

That level really ticked me off.

Anyway, I wanted to know, what kind of teams you all used.

I personally used Zero and Axl. X was...well, I already powered up Zero and Axl, and I finally maxed those two out. I\'ll work on X later.

But, what did you all think?

I personally liked X and Axl\'s voices. X\'s was actually better than I thought it would be, and Axl\'s seemed to fit.

I liked the story too. It offered something new, and not something redundant like Zero\'s past. We already know that Wily made Zero, and made the virus, and he woke up sometime after X did. Any more of his past would just get on my nerves, especially since this game is mostly about Axl, and not Zero. And what did you not like about the ending exactly?

And yes, Flame Hyenard drove me crazy.

i just rented it, and i think the voice acting SUCKED. X sounds like a complete DORK (Well, considering thats what he his....)
as well as Axl... Yeah, all that AXL, CAN YOU HEAR ME?, ZERO, CAN YOU HEAR ME? and X, CAN YOU HEAR ME? is Alia telling them some danger is ahead... The game itself is pretty fun, but the story is a little short, Capcom could\'ve done a better job than that.

Zeros hair is all god darn boxy......:mad:

And uhhhhhh. yeah.

Anyway, yes, Zero rocks in this game. Especially his cool attacks.

However, I used Axl a lot, based on his super bad A G-Launcher....which is pretty fun.

I didn\'t use X at all though. A waste of time if you ask me.

But I personally like mindlkess drivel about X or Zero\'s past...I thought the story in this one was a bit...I dunno, under-done.

i heard the dub was awful.....

I haven\'t tried it... asking for Movie Gallery to get it in for rent is going to the grocery market and looking in the meat section for the golden fleece.

Personally, I like the talk about Zero\'s past. He\'s my fave character, and I want to know as much as possible about him. I never played it. I probably never will unless Infernoman gets it. Yeah, you can tell Zero is my fave.

...Is that not Megaman Zero? that sort of falls into either the 0% Zero, 0% Megaman, 100% Megaman Zero category, or the 50% Megaman, 50% Zero category. I think. Is Megaman Zero the same guy? I haven\'t played any Megaman Zero games.

I haven\'t played X7 either. But I want to! Even though I stink at X games.

Actually, he isn\'t called Megaman Zero, just Zero. Capcom called the game Megaman Zero either to show it was a Megaman game, or because it sounds cooler. He\'s the same Zero, but he was sealed away for 100 years and for some reason came out looking a little different.

Oh... Okay then. My mistake. That is... odd though. His face doesn\'t look the same. Kinda like he\'s younger. But it\'s okay.

And yeah, I beleive it\'s entirely acceptable for you to not like one game in a series. I enjoyed every Final Fantasy game I\'ve played except for FFX.

But I didn\'t say I didn\'t like the game...

I love the game.

I think it rocks.
