Look, if you get any computer, GET AN IBM! WINDOWS XP! ECETERA! I OWN a mac, and beleive me, I hate it cuz\' all the good stuff is for Windows only. GET A DELL! If you get a mac, you\'ll be sorry!:P

i have Windows XP professional and Windows 98. i actually prefer my 98 computer. dunno why, but it just seems better.:P
EDIT: Doc, my Windows 98 hasnt crashed since i got it and ive been downloadin\' like heck!

I say get Linux on a PC you built yourself. That sounds like a stable system.
And yeah, Macintosh is for work, not play. It\'s good for photo editing and word processors..stuff like that. Not games.
But Dell is complete crap. Hell, so is IBM. No offense to my Aptiva. But anyway, the best PC is one you put together yourself.
Yep, I agree there! Apple Works 6 is a great writing program. Here on Interordi, I can highlight my text, and see if there are any mistakes. Games work ppretty well on mac, but Windows is better. Heck, I got almost all the Sims expansion packs. I also have Tomb Raider Chronicles, and Warcraft 3. Yup, they all work perfect. The only thing I like about macs are their great photo things. I got around 450 diffrent pictures on my computer, and it still loads fast. Well, Windows is still better. Oh, I also have around 100 sprite sheets! Yes, this Modum holds ALOT!

I have a Dell laptop myself, although the fact that most programs are for Windows is the only reason for me not using a Mac. I know that laptops arn\'t meant for games either, then again thats why I have a Gamecube isn\'t it now?:P
