Read this first...

People were worried. Some said that two screens would be a bad thing. But now that I have seen the DS, I am confident that Nintendo is not leaving the top of the hill anytime soon.

And this time, it\'s not just for kids. A PDA by chance, and able to communicate wireless out of the box it seems, that the DS will be one heck of a system. And just dig that retro look...and yet still so fresh.

Call me a fan boy, I am.
But by god, I know what I\'ll be playing on when the time comes...

I saw a pic on gamefaqs.com and it had like 6 screens. for map,radar,health, main screen, top screen, and stats. This will be awesome though.:miam:

Another Nintendo portable? Sheesh, they are spending way too much time with Capcom. (jk) ;^^

Really, I don\'t want to buy another system that is incompatible with the older systems\' games. My favorite game for the GB is CatTrap. If the system can\'t play it, I don\'t buy it.

Well, you\'ll be happy to know that the Nintendo DS is backward compatible with the GameBoy systems! While the DS games will be on a different, smaller medium, there\'s a second slot on the system to read GB carts.

I can\'t wait for it. I\'ve also heard that it will use BlueTooth and WyFi! (sorry if it is spelt different) And that the games will be up to 1 Gigabite!

Ok, let me clear this up.

Yes there will be a new battle nework game for the Nintendo DS! The DS is also compatible with all other GB formats and you don\'t have to buy lots of acsessory items since most of them are allready built into the DS, like wireless connectivety so you don\'t have to use money to buy a cable.

Ok, here\'s the alternative. You can play MMBN on your Advance and never get a larger version, or Nintendo can charge you loads of money when you have to buy Advance upgrades. OR, you could buy the new potable wich cost less and has all those upgrades included plus they can make the same MMBN games on it if thats what you want, or even better: They can improve it!

People are too critical when it comes to new machines. Just be thankfull that you can play your old games on it.

Though luck for you: there\'s already a Battle Network game confirmed for the DS, although there are no details known yet. Besides, there are some Battle Network games available for two other systems already: Mega Man Network Transmission on the Nintendo GameCube, and the two Wonderswan Color titles that came out in Japan only.

Nope, sorry people, for some reason Nintendo announced that the DS will only play DS and GBA games....no GB. Can\'t tell why though...

I\'m sure it will be less than the original GameBoy. I heard that it was $300 when it first came out. I\'m betting a solid $100 mininum to a possible (but hopefully wrong) $250 max. I really hope it\'s closer to a hundred.

GBA was 180 packed with a cheap Namco Greatest Hits cart..so the DS will probably be around that same price or more. When they first come out, they\'re always more expensive..just have to wait a few months until price drops.

Or have no patience and buy the PS2 3 days before it\'s second price drop..that\'s what my sibling did, it was quite humorous.
