On gamewinners it says that after you beat MM 8 on Anniversary Collection for GC you unlock the first episode of Mega Man. Well I did that and there\'s no episode in the secrets. Is the show in the PS2 version?

I beleive so, though it may be just a clip, Seens how the PS2 version has a lil bit more stuff then the GC version.

Yes, it\'s in the PS2 version. It\'s the episode where Megaman gets crushed and it goes back to about the past, with Wily and Light working together. I didn\'t watch the whole thing though, I\'m kinda going off of memory.

I think Capcom hates GC Megaman fans- as MMN stated, all this stuff is:
\"Capcom to CGN MM fans: F*** YOU.\"
Anyways, I haven\'t gotten AC (YET), so I can\'t say anything.

So I'm not going to have anything spectacular in my signature.

Actually Fred, I beleive it has something to do with how much that disc could of held....So, I don\'t think its capcoms fault...When Nintendo decided to use those small disc\'s they also lost the advantage of putting lots of extras into it after the game, Unlike sony.

It\'s not a excuse if you look at the compalities and risks of useing a small disc to loosen up space....Look at Nintendo trying to make the smallest console Hence how they made GC small.Them not putting MM first show on GC.\"o gawd thy didnt put it on i gunna whine about it\" It\'s not capcoms fault. So, Don\'t blame it on them.....It\'s nintendos fault for makeing the sm all discs that you can really only have enough room to put the game on instead of useing discs like PS2 does.....Therefore, Blame it on Nintendo not Capcom.

Capcom said that the games couldn\'t be \"compressed\" enough to fit on the GC version with alot of extras..which I think is total bullshit, the team working on the game just didn\'t understand the GC\'s hardware I\'m sure.

I doubt what you said is true hollow, I agree with the compression, But what they said is true, Useing a duisc that small would\'ng be able to hold the extras.Try putting Diablo II on one.Plus, I doubt they\'d hire a team who don\'t know their way around hardware protocols and devices.

You all still arguing!? Go to www.protoman.com! Everyone gets to watch it! That site has ALL the episodes. See, everyone is happy.

BTW, I agree with Hollow, Capcom is more used to making games for the PS, not the new GC, hence the only 1 MegaMan game so far. Soon, Command Mission will come out, but that\'s another story.:P

Would the reverse controls be Nintendo\'s fault? I play much of Metroid Prime, so it doesn\'t bother me, but I think it\'s both their fault. I also blame Sony for existing. I hate Sony. Sony must die. Sony is the bane of my existence, it is my kryptonite...

Capcom did\'nt make the controllers or the consoles only the games, Nintendo was the one who had to choose what games they wanted on their system, So basically Nintendo chose what they wanted.

The controls inversion is definitely Atomic Planet\'s fault, since they are the developpers of the recent ports to the PS2 and GC. However, the lack of extras on a GameCube disk because of space limitations makes sense, as much as I hate to admit it...

Then explain to me, Sage, how Animal Crossing was able to work.

The game is huge, it has the entire village, and the extra island if you have the GBA linkup thing, and you can travel to other towns, and collect all those items..

AND Nintendo crammed 10 NES games in there, or close to, with no problem. Possibly MM 8 and the two arcade games were the problems, but really, would they take up THAT much space?

But anyway, since Capcom mentioned the compression problem, I\'m sure they didn\'t know what they were doing.

And I partially agree with Fred, but I only don\'t like Sony because of their cheap consoles and lack of quality titles. I\'ve got alot of GC games that I could play for an eternity, but what do I have for the PS2? Gradius and Sly Cooper. :P

From what I\'ve heard, no... The MegaMan american episode is not on the GC.

Though, I hear that, in exchange, the GC Anniversary Collection gets a interview type thing with the creators of the game. Behind the scenes of MegaMan, if you will.

Actually id had nothing to do w/disk sapce on both ps2 and gc disk, only like 15% of space was used, teh reason ps2 got the 3 oavs is becouse mmac was actually supposed to be just fro the cube but psx has exclusive rights to teh mm series at the moment so they had to make it for teh ps2 as well,BUT Sony said they have to have more than the otehr system So they added the 3 eps,This was also done w/8 the ps version got a cool little retro book that the saturn version did not have but the saturn version(Capcom did this to spite sony) added extra bosses to teh saturn version

Aren\'t you guys getting a bit off topic. *Gose back on topic* The PS2 version of MMAC does infact have the whole first Mega-Man episode:) It\'s about 20 minutes long, that\'s my estimate. Plus there are alot of other extras.

Actually, I have on good word that the Gamecube disks hold more information than a PS2 disk. I don\'t know how true it really is- but since it\'s my fiance telling me this, and he usually knows what he\'s talking about as far as games are concerned, I believe him. So in otherwords, I have no idea why the PS2 version has the show (which I\'ve watched) and the Gamecube version doesn\'t. Kind a raw deal for Gamecube fans. I mean, I like Gamecube probably better than PS2, but the fact that they did that is pretty crappy.

Guys, you\'re getting off topic.

Yes. The MegaMan episode is in the PS2 version of the MMAC. And it\'s the full episode, too. Not just a short clip. It even includes the crazy \"We\'ll be back after this commercial break!\" scenes.

As for the GC, the reason it doesn\'t get the episode is because, from what I\'ve heard, they get something like \"behind the scenes\", where there are interviews with the makers of MegaMan.
