hey umm i\'ve always heard a lot about Zero killing Iris but can someone tell me how did Iris die?

Zero did kill her. She had a different beleif than Zero, plus she didn\'t like the fact he also killed her brother, colonol.
They fought, Zero vs. Iris in a suit.

And, she didn\'t want to kill him. Sigma brought all this along, by making Magma Dragoon attack the Sky Lagoon, where Repliforce was at the time, to make everyone think they were Mavericks. Play X4 as Zero, and you will understand all of it.

see, all this deception that Sigma instilled kinda set everything to go in the direction that no one but sigma wanted, but if you ask me, since MMX4, most of the plot revolves around Zero, what\'s with that

Well, it\'s getting more into Zero\'s Past, and such. Zero WAS looked at as a secondary character to the series. But in truth, Zero is the most imortant one. With him dead, Sigma can just put him back together, mess up his mind, and easily rule the world. X is nothing in this. He is blind to all this. He basically gives Zero hoppe, as his best friend, and tries to kill Sigma and bring world peace. Yet little does he know, the real conflict lies within Zero.

Personally, I believe that Zero is the only reason that Sigma survives.

The reason the plot revolves around Zero, is because Inafune wanted to make him the \"Mega Man\" of the X series in the first place.

then how come the game started of revolving around X

Because people at Capcom said that Zero didn\'t look like Megaman, so they made X. Inafune still wanted his character in it, so he added Zero in as a side character. People liked Zero, so he was allowed in the rest of the series.

Well actually, Inafune just used X in a way, to get his character Zero in the spotlight, since he wanted that to be done in the first place.. But Capcom didn\'t think consumers would like a \"red bomber\" so to speak..so he had to make X as a \'side character\' yet name the game after him just so Inafune could get Zero in a game..
