no thats not it. my friend told me it was aboutan ongoing war for earth between the aliens and the predators. thats why the commercials say \"whoever wins, we lose\"

Which is quite differeny than the original plots for the the respective movies.

I\'m just pissed that they made it PG-13. How low can you go, Fox? I know you\'re greedy bastards but for god sakes you could at least give the fans the blood and gore they\'ve been watching the series for...

But well, they made it PG-13 to get the kiddies to watch it..and it becomes number one at the box office. They planned well, but still shunned people like me, the oldschool fans.

I\'m on the fence about going to see it.. Can\'t decide if I want to.

I went to go watch it. I thought it was a pretty good action movie. Most of the action scenes had the jiggling camera effect to show struggles but it mostly ended up looking like the cameraman was having a seizure.

If you go to watch it, don\'t try to pick out what\'s wrong with the movie. It\'ll take out all the fun so just watch it.

honestly I think the movie was ok it could have been done better, like making it longer for instance, and having better fights. Oh well it was still good...too bad I think the director was an alien fan...they just seemed stronger than they should have been.

They probably made the Aliens stronger, because otherwise..what threat are they to the Predators, really? Except for their numbers, and their Queen, there is no real threat.

So, the writers or whatever had to make them stronger, so the one-on-one fight scenes would last longer..and well, so they could fight one-on-one at all.

Very good point Hollow, but if they wanted a good fight then they should have had 10 or 15 Aliens VS. 1 Predator that would have made for a GREAT fight.

Maybe they couldn\'t afford all the CG needed for 15 Aliens at once, or something.

I saw it yesterday. I thought it was pretty good. I never really saw any Alien movies in their entirety, but I saw both Predator movies. Anyways, I thought that it could have been a little longer.

It was ok I guess, not to great not too bad, could\'ve been better though.
Too bad it was PG-13, if it was R more gore I guess.

Well, I have a xenomorph action figure, its plastic is enough to show a ugly monster with 2 mouths, and 2 legs, 2 big arms, and 4 small arms, and its larval form is a face-hugger.

ive seen the first 2 alien movies and havent gotten around to the 3rd, and they werent as strong as they were in avp
and i saw both predator movies, and i thought it was pathetic how those 2 predators died so early and so easily, but it was still great, as in pretty good story line, ok cinematography, awesome effects, and awesome looking characters (im not talking about no stupid puny humans) but it went way off letting the woman steal the show, and she got lucky she didn\'t die, since the predator was always there to save her..... pathetic..... but it is the human nature......

The aliens are alive because of the predators. You see, the early egyptian, cambodian, and Aztec tribes honored the Predators as our gods and the predator taught us how to build. The predator make sure the alien exist so they can hun t them for sport. every 100 years they come back and expect a sacrifice but then one evening one of the sacrifices had one of the sepents living inside them so the Predators give it a little time to grow and multiply. after a while, They pit 3 Predators against an army of the aliens, and so the battle began. The 3 predators lost easily but since they didn\'t win they made sure nothing survived. They achived this by letting loose a bomb which wiped out an entire civilization overnight. And so, the predators are our gods and we must honor them otherwise they\'ll kill us all.
