There was/is a trick to steal, and all you have to do it make a hole in a coin, put a thin string in it, and keep putting and pulling the coin out.

its crazy, cuz iv found some in food 4 less the other day for about 25-30 cents!! but then i went outside, and there was a vending machine selling the same sodas for 75 cents!!! and more ppl bought it outside than inside.....im so confused :conf:

Seriously! and at Castle Park, and many other places, they\'ll let you bring your own drinks, but ppl dont want to have to worry about a locker or anything, so they pay 2 bucks for a can of soda!!!

I don\'t drink soda so I don\'t have to worry. And the only machine I\'ve cheated, was an arcade machine..but I didn\'t do it on purpose, it just kept spitting the quarters out but let me play, it was broken I guess. And it\'s never bad to wait around little kids at the arcade, so when their mom yells for them to leave, you can play on their money. >.> It\'s going to sit there anyway.

Wow, coke in your states cost too much. Normal vending machines here have 40 cents for cans, and 75 cents for bottles.

You can\'t do the \"Cut out the peice of Paper Trick\" The machine has a way of reading the bills you know...
The only real way you could cheat a machine is like what Zera said.

Yeah, the machines around me are the bottle machines. Still, its a reasonable price.

£1 (UK)=$0.85 (USA) roughly.

Around here the prices are like this:

Cans (500ml): £0.50 ($0.43)

Bottles (700ml): £0.70 ($0.60)

Althugh the pound is worth more than the dollar at the moment, you can get a lot more as the priced in the states are lower. For example, a nickle ($0.05) is worth about (£0.04). You can buy stuff for a nickle (not much, but can buy somethings) The lowest you can buy the same thing for over here is 25p. That\'s about $0.21.

That\'s not a lot of difference in what the currencys are worth, but it gets more and more different as the numbers get bigger:

£100=$85

£1,000,000=$850,000

£48,563,985=$12,140,996

NOTE: These are all approximations.
