If you\'re independently learning japanese, then you need to go to a reliable website, or a teacher, or a wise old japanese guy.

People on a messageboard don\'t always know the correct japanese spelling, and meaning.

The \"Japanese\" as given by Kiryu would be wrong because it does depend on the pronouncation. I can\'t really explain this too well, sorry.

It took me forever to be able to come up with katakana version of \"purity\" (Kia was easy, Purity was NOT.) I had to ask various other students of Japanese language for their opinion and help.

\"I\" Is pronounced like the \"I\" in Inside
\"U\" is pronounced like the two \"O\"s in the word TOOth
\"E\" is pronounced like the \"E\" in the word Elephant
\"O\" is pronounced like the \"O\" in the word Over
theres a lot more to pronunciation and reading though. So before you start \"Translating\" anything else learn it.

Well, Pocket. Accoring to the engine posted in the translation topic, Pocket would be \"Pokuketsu\", but that\'s most likey incorrect. Others say \"Poketto\", but I\'m not sure about this one eather.

I got my name (Snake) translated just to check, I got \"Sunake\" and \"suneekku\", or \"Sunakeman eke\" and \"sunakeman iikkusu\". I guess I\'ll have to have someone run a check on thease translators.

Arkane, how do you pronounce your username? Is it Arkane, where the first A is pronounced like the A in Father, and the second A is pronounced like the \"ane\" in mane?
