I\'d have to say, he has his hair in a spike-mohawk thing, with every second color pink, and every other purple. That\'s with his helmet off, that is.

I dunno. I\'ve seen fan-art of X without his armor and helmet and stuff, and it\'s usually black, almost blue.
Aw, what the hell. I\'ll go with black.
And by the way, this is off topic, but I\'m baaaaack! I haven\'t posted for a bit. No, correction, about 1 or 2 years.

Ok regular MM had black,MMBN had black,MML had dark brown,MMX ?
I have all the regular MMs\' all the MMBNs\' so far, except for 5,and I have 1 X game.and 1 legends game,I should know,so my guess would be black, just because most of his counter parts has black.

The only time I\'ve ever seen Megaman with brown hair was in the old, old TV series, and I honestly don\'t count that for anything.
I vote for black, as it suits X, and that\'s the color I draw his hair anyway. ^-^
EDIT: .EXE has black. I have the action figure.

Nope. \'Cuz it\'s not blue. It\'s black.
Still, if his DNA matched Lan\'s, it should be brown, and let\'s not even get started on the eyes.
I don\'t know how reliable the Rockman Perfect Memories books are or the translators who translated the text, but they say Trigger is a near exact copy of X. Since we know Trigger\'s hair color, X\'s hair color is brown too. But... it all depends what \"near exact copy\" means. Does it mean Trigger in whole is a \"near exact copy\" or just his memories or something like that...
Sorry... Sounds kinda off-topic... ^^;
As with what Dr.C said, I say that X has no hair. Also mentioned before is X5's ending, in which
Mach Jentra: I heard you were dead.
Zero: You know me - never say 'die.'

True, true, very true...
Capcom doesn't use much logic with this stuff, do they? Maybe that was how they tried it out - and then they decided they didn't like it.
Mach Jentra: I heard you were dead.
Zero: You know me - never say 'die.'
For that matter, considering the source anyway, I guess I don't care about logic or reasoning. XP Reploids have hair because... I hate drawing helmets. XD I've always basically assumed X's hair to be brown.
Aaaand... if you want reasoning, I say, if Megaman was so human, why downgrade, when X is supposed to be even more human than Megaman? Why not at least give him the option of looking like a human?

Actually, the idea of reploids, any reploid too, even the animaloid ones, was to possess the qualities and abilities of a human - free will, thinking, feelings, etc. This did not necessarily mean the reploid itself had to be human-looking, as shown with nearly every Maverick X has fought. To ask why X doesn't have hair is the same as to ask why Vile doesn't have a face - it's not necessary for their design. They are all human-like - they talk, think, and show emotion, plus they can go insane.
Zero's hair? That's probably Wily's idea of his own hair. Guess he didn't look into a mirror before taking that project...

Mach Jentra: I heard you were dead.
Zero: You know me - never say 'die.'
And we know that Vile doesn't have a face? Anyway, I'd say that X does have hair. Light talked about how he wanted X to live in a world of peace, so I'd imagine that he's got something under that helmet.
Well maybe he wears that helmet because of his hair and of course the fighting. However he may have a green mohawk that he got embarrased about and his hair would never grow back. So he puts on the helmet.

Mach Jentra: I heard you were dead.
Zero: You know me - never say 'die.'
I really don't think X has any hair! All he's really good at is fighting and brooding. He doesn't need hair. But if he had hair it would be brown like all the other Megamen. A lot of folks seem to think the original Megaman had black hair but I look at it as being dark brown.
I never concern myself with reploid hair. Ruins the illusion for me.
I just want it to be repected.
X could have anything under his helmet. I think he has nothing. Let's hear more opinions, not opposition to my reason. Thanks.

I vote for the green mohawk.

Sheesh, I just like to think of reps with hair because I like them seeming more human. x_x

Somehow, I'd expect the reploids in 22XX and beyond to have hair since they've been around humans for so long. But then, some of them look like such killing machines that "useless" details such as hair wouldn't really make sense!
