I have been thinking a bit and have thought of something. In most games, there are types of characters: Melee, Spellcasters, etc., and I want to know what is your favorite type of characters you like to use.

P.S. Most will be defined in what type of abilities they will use.

Melee mostly. Outside of Final Fantasy games, I usually find that the most effective strategy is just to run up and beat the mess out of people. This is also usually my strategy in FF games, however, there are many highly useful spells in them. But in Disgaea, for instance, one Red Skull in my main party is plenty, though he does rock hard.

I might as well post.

I have never been a huge fan of being up and in a person\'s face, especially when it comes to fighting a boss, in any game. I have always wanted to be the guy that stands in the back, cheering and healing our team to victory. That, and I notice that when people fly into the front lines to take on an enemy head-on, they usually tend to fly back with a good few cuts and gashes, along with the ever-so-popular loss of limbs.:P

Sadly enough, in my own respect, I am little like a melee fighter. I\'m certainly not physically tough. If I had to pick a type of fighter to be, I\'d be a white mage. They\'re always handy. Or a strategist, though they\'re not all too common. And sometimes my logic... fails.:P

Don\'t feel bad, I have the same way of thinking. I\'m always picked first if there are two stratigies to be chosen. Whatever stratigy I chose, my team will use the other. I just look at them all badly and continue playing.

My personal Favorite has always been offensive magic. Theres nothing quite like casting ultima, causing 9999 damage to the last boss, killing him, and showing the ending cinema. Just imagine, if you will, having such magics in real life. Lighting fires with no effort. It would be great.

I always like ranged attacks, but I\'d like to give Defensive Magic or Melee a try too.
Ranged attacks are my favorite because if you can move fast enough doing it, nobody can get in the range or accuracy to hit you. Also, though it seems like there might not be much attack involved, the distance can prepare you to make a more well aimed and damaging first strike.

Hmmm..I\'ve gotta say either theivery or curing magic... I always like thievery, you get such cool weapons/items earlier than you\'re supposed to. But curing is definitely needed..else you won\'t live long.

Yeah, but that\'d score points with all the chicks for being brave.

I\'m more of a Melee as you can tell...

Yea, well. I\'d rather be alive with the ability to keep alive then go charging in to battle screaming my head of only to have the possiblity of never seeing another woman. But then again, thats just me.
