I was thinking, Megaman\'s been in RPG\'s and racing games and such by now... some have accepted it very well, while others think it\'s ruining it. Anyways, if Megaman enters another genre, what should Capcom look into?

P.S. If you actually think Megaman SHOULD look into Beach Volleball, and can back it up, I\'d love to hear.

I\'d have to say a shooter sounds like a fun idea. Still, a Megaman Battle Network MMORPG would be a lot of fun, CAPCOM.*wink* *wink* *wink* *wink*

I kinda think that a Megaman game would be pretty cool as a first-person shooter. We have seen an RPG, not multi-player however, but seeing ANY kind of new genre of Megaman would be nice, but I would rather see a first-person shooter.

A halo shooter megaman is what i need.

I\'d like to see Rokkuman in more of a traditional RPG. EXE was more of a different kind of RPG.

I\'d like to see an RPG which has more of a Final Fantasy type, not in terms of story, but in gameplay.

Also, like a Neverwinter Nights kind of RPG would be kinda fun.

How about puzzle\'s like giving robots instructions so they would do everything right; Building strong, stable molecules; Moving boxes arond; Managing lasers around; Cracking codes; Etc.? Just the typical lab stuff.

A MMORPG based on the X series...imagine, you could be a maverick, or a hunter, or a mercenary or...whatever...

Sounds like an adventurous step... but Capcom would have to throw in SOME kinda action thing for it to sell. Maybe a MoTB style, with a section for puzzles like such, but also some action and other type stages?

That\'s one thing I was thinking about... could be kinda neat, if Capcom would be THAT creative. I know I\'d play it.

I\'m just not sure how well that would work out. After all, look at what happened to URU Live.

What? No! I mean that URU Live was wonderful, but due to the tyrannical regime of Ubisoft, Cyan was forced to shut it down.

I mean, Ubi said they weren\'t getting enough money.

About a month after it was shut down, 80% of the URU player had decided they were going to do Live.

I\'d still like to see a Puzzle Fighter game with Megman characters... maybe just as a small add-on to another game, but still...

My vote has to go to first person shooter. I suppose I\'m thinking in terms of Metroid and how well that worked out. I\'d love to see something like that for Megaman- especially if they can actually manage a well-worked out plot. On a side note, it seems like we\'re talking about everything in terms of EXE or X... Gosh, I\'d love to see Megaman Zero get some sort of action, too. Am I alone in thinking that a Gamecube game with the Guardians as the main and playable characters would be, however unlikely, kinda cool? (And no, this isn\'t an invitation for MegamanZero flames. I\'ve heard them all, anyway.)

I like strategy games, really, but Megaman in a strategy game? NO!!! It could be fun, but it doesn\'t really fit.

That\'s why I chose for a MMORPG, I created a topic about that in the BN part.

Why not merge the Original, X, Zero, Legends and Battle Network Series into a whole new game?

Aw, no, man! It would be awful, to much into one.
Would be fun, though, if you could have an Original or X Megaman in the real world and Megaman.EXE in the Cyber one!

And Breakman, BEACH VOLLEYBALL? Well, Proto in swimming trunks would be awesome to all, but... Dr. Light in a swimming suit gotta be hilarious!

a strategy game would be nice

you have a base and you can create your own robots and let them fight with the other army of robots

but i prefer a MMORPG

Well, okay, THAT would be totally weird, why put Samus, a Nintendo character, in MMX+sometingelse, made by Capcom? I don\'t want to ruin your dreams here, but I do want to have things... realistic, for as far as things can be in the MM games.
