I was having a discussion with a friend about a Smokey the Bear commercial, and it some how got to being Smokey v.s. Yogi the Bear. So I need to know what you all will think about this serious (yet utterly weird) topic. Who will win in a fight to the death?

Yogi is smarter than the average bear, with his picnic basket full of tricks.

Smokey likes to fight fire with water. Put out forest fires!!

I like food so i\'m voting for yogi.

I\'m going with Smokey. I mean, compare his anatomy to Yogi\'s not only is he much buffer than Yogi, but he\'s more genial too. Pants and hat vs. hat and tie. Who would you side with?:lol:

Also, Smokey has an army of unholy, singing, poorly animated forest animals. Yogi has... Boo-Boo. I\'d hate to see anyone come off as threatening with a left-hand man named Boo-Boo.

Doesnt Smokey hold a chainsaw in the commercial? Or is that in my deranged fantasys? either way, I bet smokey has a flamethrower and could beat yogi!

Smokey\'s leading a conspiracy against the animals! He\'s stockpiling weapons of mass destruction!:eek:

But nah, I don\'t think I\'ve ever seen him with a weapon of any kind... Or a chainsaw, anyways.

Don\'t dis boo-boo I think personally smokey\'s commercials are starting to suck.

Somkey owns. I saw him one time and I was all, \"Whoa! You\'re that ninja! Wait.....I mean bear.\" And he was all, \"Yep, and only you can prevent forest fires.\" And at that moment I started to freak out and said, \"Why me? Isn\'t there someone else?\" And he went, \"Because you\'re that ninja. And you are the only one who can prevent forest fires.\"

Then, endowed with my new resposiblity I ask, \"Who would win in a fight, you or Yogi?\" He looked down at me and simply said, \"I would own his ass.\"

That should anwser the question. Smokey and Sgt. Grumbles should make and alliance though. That would rule.

P.S. Masterlink, you aparently don\'t know Gutter very well. This is nowhere close to the worst he\'s done.....aw crap, now I remember them!

Eh anyway, between simply Yogi and Smokey. Smokey indeed. Yogi just fecking annoys the hell out of me. Same with Booboo. (Damn him.) I could never stand to watch a full episode of that God awful cartoon.

Smokey however never came to my school or anything, but I guess he\'s cool in my book. I do like fire, but I like forest as well. Anyway, straight down to it I pick Smokey because his name suggests he\'s a pothead. It amuses me.

I didn\'t meet him at school, it was outside a gas station. He was stocking up on candy and Snak-paks.

I\'ve seen his cheap bill-boards, signs and commercials everywhere near the everglades. They need to retire that bear and bring in a cooler one with a flamethrower who CAUSES forest fires!

Wow. And I thought Yogi and Smokey were the same guys! But thats just me.
