I\'d appreciate a Ruoroni kenshin game first then this.

There were two Kenshin games released in Japan on the Playstation. The series is too old now for there to ever likely be a new game made for it however.

They still make DBZ games...I don\'t see why they couldn\'t make a Kenshin game <<;

You can\'t really compare any anime series to Dragonball Z though. Whether or not you like the series or not is not really required to note that it is a phenomenon that stretches across the world. No other anime title has ever gotten the popularity that Dragonball Z has gotten around the world.

Don\'t get me wrong, I\'m a big fan of Ruruoni Kenshin. It\'s a very good title, and does have a good following. Just not so much as Dragonball. Also, one must take note that the Dragonball Z games were first made for the American audience; I really don\'t know how strong of a following Kenshin has in North America but I doubt it\'s anything like Dragonball. I think the manga is selling quite well however. Point is, Kenshin just might not have a strong enough following to have a game made about his series over here in the United States. And it\'s very unlikely that the Japanese would make another Kenshin game seeing as the manga ended in 1999. *shrug*

It\'s true it could happen, I just don\'t think it\'s very likely.

Maybe some kind of 3d Kenshin fighter where you can unlock guys like Shishio (did I spell that right)

I\'d rather have a 2D so far as Kenshin\'s concerned. The faces are all two wierd to capture in a cel-shaded form like DBZ: Budokai games. I mean, I certainly can\'t imagine Konryu Takeda or Shishio in Budokai-ish cel-shading.

Still, a 2D sidescroller or fighting game would probably be cool. I don\'t know...

Oh yeah... FMA. Hrmm... I never liked it much, because, like Wolf\'s Rain, it\'s just too dark for my tastes. And I really just don\'t like the main character much (sorry to Edward fans). The game didn\'t look very entertaining either. Ah well, to each his own.

I split the comments about the possibility of a Kenshin game from Enix\'s FMA game thread because I wanted to prevent the thread from going off topic. Well, at least more so, but I still felt that this could be an interesting topic as well. *shrug*

For anyone interested in a Kenshin game, you should look up information on a SNK fighter called Last Blade. It was an unnofficial Kenshin game; it didn\'t feature any Kenshin characters, but it\'s characters were based on Kenshin characters.

A kenshin game would be cool....But as previosly stated it is to old.
Maybe if they brought out a new season it might be posible...:D

It\'s unlikely that Kenshin will be animated again. The original series did continue past Shishio, but got cancelled due to some horrific filler. The last arc of the Kenshin manga never got animated, but it\'s likely it never will. In 2002 an OAV was released of Kenshin that was supposed to be the end to the animation.

It\'s unlikely that the manga would ever continue again, either. The creator, Nobuhiro Watsuki, is currently working on another title, Busou Renkin.

All good things must come to an end.

..still, I can\'t play as Shishio and beat up Kenshin. Woe.

There was two Rurouni Kenshin games released for the Playstation. One was a 3D fighter, which wasn\'t supposed to be any good. It had characters prior to the Kyoto Arc.

The second was an RPG where you choose between an original male or female character to play as.

EDIT: Neither were brought here, as Kenshin was almost completely unknown of at the time.

About old animes spawning new games, that\'s not entirely true that it doesn\'t happen. Yu Yu Hakusho is a prime example. It originally came out in 1991. However, just in the last one or two years, three games have come (two for GBA and one for Playstation 2). So there is some possiblity for another Rurouni Kenshin game. However, it is true that there is a higher possibility that won\'t be one.

The fighter sounds decent to me but the rpg sounds nice too. maybe a budokai style Kenshin.:D
