I hate cheating fer ANYTHING. mm games get messed up when u do(atleast thats wat my frend tells me)

I use codes for games I\'m not good at, and FAQs when there\'s something I need to know quickly.

I had to look up an FAQ for instance, with the Street Fighter collection, because the stupid manual didn\'t tell you how to THROW. Tells you how to unlock Akuma, but not how to throw...

I use cheats so I can get 100% on a game (Pokemon for example. Need...teh...Deoxys...) But otherwise, I don\'t use them that often.

I mostly just use cheats when I have to, like when I\'m at a part that I just can\'t beat. I used to cheat all the time, but ever since I got my hands on Tales of Symphonia and beat it without a strategy guide, I realized how much more fun games are without cheats.

Pfffffffft, yeah right, me cheat? Hahaha good one. I never ever get stuck in games because when I play them, the games go, \"Man, you\'re awesome! To the MAXXXX! Man you\'re so awesome you deserve to have passed this game without any effort!\" and then I\'m like, \"About time.\" and yeah. That\'s a true story of what happens when I play any video game that ever existed or will exist.

Only when I\'m hopelessly stuck in it and can\'t get through this one area.

...but even then, there was no cheat codes that could have saved me from Babel Towel... Tower in Xenogears at all. It was all about timing. Ohgod.

I really don\'t cheat on any game I\'m serious about. That kinda robs you of the victory yell at the end of it. It\'s like winning a battle and when you want to yell in victory, whoever your ally was is bigger than you and yells a whole lot louder... so you can\'t really enjoy it... and that was a pretty bad analogy... :sick:

Um.. But yeah, I use them if there\'s a really old game I can\'t beat, if I\'ve already beaten the game, or if they don\'t alter actual gameplay (ex. extra costumes that ARE NOT unlockable in the game, things like that).

I usually use walkthroughs or a game guild thingy that you buy in the stores. I only have one for Pokemon Leaf Green(Yeah that really helps, after I went for a swim with it in my pocket) and one for Jak II which if I didn\'t have I probably wouldn\'t have gotten through it.

But, in all I only use walkthroughs if I really need too.

XD;; You\'ll always, always, always see me at GameFAQs. I\'ll go through the whole game once, and then play it all over again with walkthroughs and everything, just incase I missed any cutscenes in RPGs or something. x__x;;

That\'s a rather dumb thing to say... I have a little example for you.. I love DooM ³... it\'s terrifying.. and that\'s why I love it.. but, it loses its edge if you die... dying in that game doesn\'t scare me, the monsters popping out scare me... So, I used an invincibility cheat, so my gameplay wouldn\'t be interrupted by death, followed by the exhasperating, and boring process of re-working a whole level. It made my gameplay experience much more pleasant, and I wasn\'t cheating against another person.. I\'m not a \'loser\' for getting my ideal game with the cheats provided by id Software.

Yeah, I\'m a cheater. I cheat on GTA games all the time. Exspecialy when I\'m almost dead. Health cheats kick ass.

I used to, but then a friend taught me ho fun it is to do it for yourself. Of course, I ALWAYS cheat in GTA! The game is almost impossible without them! GTA-VC has a level, I think it is get to the top of your mansion and get some guy that betrays you. The WHOLE building is flooded with gunners! You get to the roof, its only pure luck if you live! The enemies shoots the gasoline barrels near the entrance where you are! THAT level, I couldn\'t beat, even WITH the cheats!

Of coarse, GTA is the kind of game made to use cheats with, because it is still really hard, even with cheats!

That is my analysis.

Oh, and I use cheats when I beat the game like a thousand times, just for the hell of it!

On topic, I try to stay as far away from cheating as possible. While I agree with Shadowfire, I like to play the game the way it was meant to be played. The way it seems, Doom3 is the kind of game you play more for just bone-chilling scary things, rather than the game itself. (I\'m probably wrong. ^^) But I always feel guilty after I cheat.
