i been playing mmx 8 and i saw that zero hair was thiner and shorter.wht happen to his hair?did he cut it or some thing?i like his hair in the 2d mmx(4,5,6)looks cool but not any more.:cry:
Er, while most of the new characters look pretty nice in their new cel-shaded 3-D characters, my personal belief is that the biggest flaw is in Zero\'s hair. I mean, it just looked so cool in the 2-D games that the transition made it seem kind of ribboney and unrealistic, not much like it was actual hair. That\'s my opinion anyways.

OfflineFor the record, I think that every character suffered in the transition. Except for maybe Axl, but since I don\'t like him, I\'m not counting it.
I agree with the two posters above me, but I will add that this new artist is probably the one who ruined Zero\'s hair. He likes overdramaticizing the armor designs, but when it comes to hair it\'s all small and thinned out. He wants the reploids all BALD!
I always liked Sensei\'s designs, too bad they got rid of him.

The reasoning I think that is behind making Zero\'s hair thinner is because the style is cell-shaded. The big problem with cell-shaded games is that You can\'t have too much detail when it comes to hair. Each strain can\'t be animated for obvious reasons and if it was made up of groups of hair... it would look just that like groups of hair or braids or something of that nature. Now if they did have Zero with his \"traditional\" amount, it would most likely look like a cape than hair that probably move stiffly all together at once.
So, yea, it was the artist\'s version of Zero but it also has to do with how good the model would look in the game, in action. Perhaps if Zero wasn\'t a playable character, his hair would be full because he would probably wouldn\'t need to move around that much during whenever he is needed in the game.
Does any of this make any sense? ^^;

Um... right... Yeah, Zero and X definitely look weird. I mean... weird... after we finally grew used to them, they turned out like... like this... ugh... 
Oh, and Break, looking at your mood... are you sick of someone or did you catch a cold or somethin\'? If it\'s the latter (probably something worse than a cold ^_ ^), I hope you recover soon.

InactiveYou know, I noticed in X7, Zero\'s hair looked like some psychotic bush, and in X8 it looks as you said... weird. I guess I don\'t care either way- I\'m more for gameplay. At least X8 wasn\'t totally horrible. I don\'t like Axl much either, but I\'ll spare the flames for Breaky-Chan\'s sake. ^^ I think X looks so weird in the recent games because his eyes are like, spaced out really wide or something... he looks like a friggin\' fish...

Not many did, since it got bad reviews, but it\'s still an okay game. Back from another thousand-year hibernation.
One thing I did notice about X I didn\'t like... His Red Light on his head is Bigger.
Then they added Axl\'s lines down the light blue part of his armor...
