Well Witchcraft is forbidden by the Bible. I just don\'t have a problem with fictional witchcraft.

Witchcraft is forbidden by the Bible. Okay. Now, what is it exactly? People trying to summon demons from the depths of hell? Another random human being thinking some kind of spell can save him from cancer?

I just think it also matters how Witchcraft is used. For what purposes.

According to that logic, Jesus is the most evil bastard in history for performing his miracles.

Yes. Thereby, the Bible is actually opposing itself.

The only reason why Bible is oppositing itself is that it was written by many different people and translated several different times.

So, yeah, that\'s the biggest butchery ever.

However, Harry Potter 4 movie was GREAT. The emotions were intense and oh my.

I\'m not bothered as long as it is an improvement to the third film. God, that was awful.

The original translation of the Bible\'s opposition to Witchcraft probably meant to forbid the devices of Satan, not witchcraft (whether or not the Christians in question consider these to be the same thing is not the point).

(I can imagine the translators not being able to speak English, so they use Google Translator, thus making it become unrecognisable :P [first person to remind me that Google Translator did not exist 2000 years ago is a prat])

Yeah, yeah it was. It had it\'s good parts, but compared to the fourth movie, it just downright sucks.

Yup. At first, people using Witchcraft were even respected by christians. Only somewhere around 1100 the church got this crazy idea of killing all those people for what? Because they said they worshipped the devil. They said so.

Actually, 2000 years ago, the translators were way better. They even had Arian (Indo-European)!

Personally, I really liked The Half-Blood Prince. It was more cryptic and morbid, and very serious. It sets a darker pace for the rest of the series, preparing us for the tragedies yet to come. Awesome.

I like all the Harry Potter books.

The only ones that fall below the others are Sorcer\'s Stone and Goblet of Fire. Those aren\'t the best. The one that is above the others is The Prisoner of Azcaban. But I like the two newest ones.

I cried when Sirius died. He was my favorite charector...

I know this is old, but Jesus wasn't using witchcraft.
