I haven\'t played Thousand Year. o.o

But..I did like Superstar Saga best. It was what it should be..Mario, in RPG form. Paper Mario somewhat didn\'t feel like Mario..I guess it was the addition of all that star wand crap.. Legend of the Seven Stars just wasn\'t funny enough, and I\'m probably in the minority but I didn\'t like Geno or Mallow..or any other characters that weren\'t part of the Mario series originally.

Superstar Saga had the humor, and the characterizations down very well. I also liked BeanBean, it still had a \"Mario feel\" compared to the Monstro Town\'s of old.

Of the ones I\'ve played thousand year door being the only one I\'ve not Mario RPG legend of the seven stars is by far the best.

I think this because...well most likely because it was the first. Damn I\'ve been through that game 7 of 8 times from start to finish. I love the bosses and the characters more than in any other Mario RPG game. Geno, Bowser, Princess, Mallow(confused frog/marshmallow prince from the clouds = a fun time for all) wew. And bad guys like Booster, and the axiem rangers MWAHAHAHAHA I could never forget characters like them!

The game play started the timed hits and times blocks, that made skill a factor so you’re not just pressing the a button and waiting for the attack to finish, you’re involved in every battle. For the snes it was one of the better looking games I think...it was and still is a huge rush to play!

Let me think... I\'ve played all of those but Super Star Saga.

Truly, I love Paper Mario and its sequel, but my heart goes out to Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. One of my very most favorite RPGs ever for the SNES, besides maybe Lufia 2 or Final Fantasy 3, which still rank among the highest overall for me because of nostalgia attacks. You had awesome \"3-D graphics,\" which at the time I viewed as quite the for-sure-zle. I really loved Mallo and Geno, and for pete\'s sake, BOWSER NEEDS A BALL AND CHAIN AGAIN AND GIVE MARIO HIS MALLET BACK. Best weaponry ever. Actually, throughout my entire time playing it, I thought Geno was purely a magician, and never even guessed he was a puppet. Also, they never focused too much on the stars themselves, unlike Paper Mario who feels the need to give even the stars faces and personalities (curse you all and your glasses and mustachios). The Axem Rangers were awesome (although they took a while with my extremely limited abilities to strategize when attacking back then), and... sniff... I never beat Smithy... There. I confessed. He\'s too hard after he turns into that huge grey thing and starts transforming!

But yeah, Legend of the Seven Stars was pure-t awesomeness. I do really love the style of Paper Mario though. It\'s about the most fun you can have with paper cut outs of Mario.

You\'re cracking me up, Necro. You decided to fight back on Wind\'s previous statement, I see!

I haven\'t had a chance to play Superstar Saga and Thousand Year Door, but I definitely want to get them eventually. I\'m somewhat split in choosing between Super Mario RPG and Paper Mario... Both games had an extremely well done style that suited them well. I\'m tempted to vote in favor of Paper Mario, but it\'s a close call.

Lesgend of the seven stars will always have a special spot in my heart. Superstar saga was okay Paper Mario 1 was better than thousand year door though in my opinion.

Now to post myself. Consider yourselves lucky. ;)

I\'m really not sure which of the Mario roleplaying games were my favorite. Out of the three that I\'ve finished, I\'d have to say that Legend of the Seven Stars was my least favorite. This shouldn\'t be misunderstood as that I didn\'t enjoy the game; that could not be farther from the truth. I just felt that Superstar Saga and The Thousand Year Door felt more like they belonged in the Mario universe. Although LotSS took place in the Mushroom Kingdom, it just didn\'t have the feel that the others did.

I have played the first Paper Mario but I didn\'t play it long enough to form an opinion. I rented it back when it was released but didn\'t get to play it very much. I enjoyed the sense of humour that was prevalent in the game. Which is why I enjoyed Superstar Saga and The Thousand Year Door as much as I did. I especially liked the chapters in Thousand Year Door. The wrestling gimmick was one of the most unique experiences I\'ve had in a RPG and honestly I found it very enjoyable.

Between my two favorites, it\'s hard for me to decide. I guess I\'d say Superstar Saga, because it made me laugh quite abit as well, and it had Luigi as a playable character. It was great to see the Mario Bros. together again. :)

I\'d suggest trying both. Both were quite funny, I thought. :)

Hhhmmm, it really is a tough decision, I haven\'t beaten legend of the 7 stars yet, but so far it is my favorite. I love the part where Mario hides behind the curtains, and I believe they somewhat re-enact that scene in paper mario. But the graphics for its time were superb. Even some of the music was pretty good. And-and, BOWSER JOINS YOUR PARTY!! WHOOO!!

Thousand Year Door was certainly amusing. It had some funny sercrets and eggs, like the costume badges, the 8-bit curtain, and the Bowser stages. Well, Bowser doesn\'t count as an egg but it\'s still awesome to play as him.

Superstar Saga had its moments, too. I personally can\'t wait to get my hands on Partners in Time. (Looks frickin\' awesome.)

But in the end, Paper Mario was a bit better for me. It was probably those bumbling X-Nauts.....:D

Seven Stars, FTW. Seriously, that games was just awesome. Geno helped alot. xD

Paper Mario was fun, but seemed a bit kiddy to me. I haven\'t played the other two selections, so Seven Stars wins... and is still my favorite. ^__^

I\'ve played all but thousand year door, I\'d have to chose MarioRPGLOTSS.

The Game play, the minigames, the music, the bosses, and the side quests. This was the First RPG I put over Sixty hours into (had to get the damn jump scarf/suit) and then replayed. Mallow was a lame character design I have to admit. A cloud named after a marshmallow, Marsh-Mallow, Marsh like the frog pool he grew up in....... Man I hated that.

I loved the wedding, all the kisses were great! My favorite Boss had to be the Axem Rangers lol. Smithy was easy for me because I had 4 red essences and got really good at getting freebies on them and megalixers, and after getting the jump suit/scarf I could super jump his first form to death in two Mario turns.

Superstar saga Seemed lacking somehow... Only two characters?:conf:

I never played Paper Mario long enough to get a good feel for the game, but it didn\'t wow me Like lotss.

After further inspection, the poll is moot.

Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time is now officially the best Mario RPG ever. Go buy it and find out why. BD

Seven Stars.

I know some people didn\'t like the charecters in that game very much, but the overall feel of the game just had a sort of magical quality to it. I mean come on... Monstro Town. Lands End. The freakin\' cameo\'s from Link and Samus.

Paper mario, admitadly, did have the same magical-twang to it, but I just didn\'t enjoy it quite as much. Probobly because it was too easy.

Superstar saga didn\'t quite do it for me. Too easy, not enough variety. RPG elements seemed lax.
