For those who didn\'t read through the first link, he swallowed antifreeze, vomited some back up, went to the hospital, and died there.

I don\'t know what to think. Just thought I\'d share, since we did have one of our own go (gamewise).

Now... the freckin stupid part is well, remember that Jack Thompson guy I talked about? Well, this kid dying was like him striking gold. Now, from what I have heard off of Gamefaqs, Jack Thompson is pleading to Kuja\'s mother to sue Konami and to sue www.metalgearsolid.org to blame them for his death (you know, he became mad, then killed himself). But I don\'t think he did that. But you never know. It\'s so sad that his last words were those... Now he\'s gone.

Damn you, Jack Thompson. You can\'t let Kuja rest in peace without exploiting his death for your selfish crusade, can you? CAN YOU!? I never had the pleasure of knowing Kuja all that well, but I\'d run into him a few times before.

He didn\'t need to do what he did. I can understand why he did it, no doubt, but it\'s just so sad. From the little I knew him, I knew he was a great person, bringing laughter and joy to everyone. \'He loved games too, and now Jack Thompson wants to pervert his memory and use him against one of the things he liked most.

I hope Thompson burns for a long time.

I\'ll get the matches, you get the gasoline. Tonight, Thompson burns. I don\'t get why he can\'t let the kid rest in peace? I never knew Kuja, never talked to him or anything. This is sad, but I hope nobody else follows his example.

Yes, Jack is taking this too far. Violent games aren\'t going to go away, he\'s just wasting his time. Because of Kuja\'s death, he is taking his death to an advantage to take violent video games off the shelves. Hopefully what Kuja did won\'t affect video games forever... Also, Jack says once more for video game fans to get a life... Here is a quote from me friend:

In my last topic about JT he told gamers to get a life and stop the \" masturbatory activity\" on games....well he has to say it again! Yes, telling gamers to get a life and talk about sex stuff around kids seems to be his NEW thing! Plus the other bad thing is its a comment on a guy committing suide story.

Here is the words from JT\'s post....

\"Your \"gamer friend\" will find peace through the Lord, Jesus Christ, but sadly it\'s too late for that.

There is a void in every heart. You can fill it up with the things of God, or the things not of God. This unfortunate soul chose to fill it up with combat games. The playing of these video games is masturbatory activity, meaning senseless self-stimulation. If you gamers could use a dictionary you would know that that term is not necessarily a sexual one.

The real tragedy here extends beyond the life and death of this one fellow. There are literally millions of young people and young adults whose despair is deepend by turning to the things of this world and then finding them meaningless.

All of you gamers need to put down the controllers and get a life. The utter inanity of the vast majority of postings here shows how vapid \"gaming\" really is.

You are one of the cheerleaders for this wasting of time and the wasting of lives. Do you feel any remorse for having contributed to this \"culture of death?\" Of course not. Hey, let\'s all play MORE games, and ignore all the really productive things to do with our lives.

Let\'s pretend to be shocked that a gamer might descend into deeper depression, as his gamer \"buds,\" knowing he was killing himself, couldn\'t figure out how to call 911 themselves for him. That would have involved leaving their computers I guess.

Sad. Sad for all of you.\"
http://metalgearsolid.org/news/show_news.p...hive=&template=

I dont even know what to say right now. Jack needs to grow up. He should be sorry and be giving his condolences but no,he feels the need to put his personal matters before whats really going on. Shame on you JT!
Also I think it says in the bible somewhere dont judge people, look it up Jack.

On behalf of everyone we give our condolences to Mitchell \"Mitch\" Lee Stuekerjuergen.

\"Mitchell \"Mitch\" Lee Stuekerjuergen, 21, of Fort Madison, died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, Ill.

He was a 2003 graduate of Aquinas High School. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Fort Madison. He built his own computer and was an avid Star Wars and movie fan. At his request he was an organ donor.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Nancy and Bob Fowler of Fort Madison; his father and stepmother, Kevin and Tami Stuekerjuergen of Fort Madison; one sister, Cyndi Stuekerjuergen at home; one brother, Tyler Stuekerjuergen at home; one stepsister, Courtney Fowler of Donnellson; three stepbrothers, Damien Fowler of Fort Madison and Kyle and Cole Calvert, both at home; maternal grandparents, Leonard and Bernice Rickelman of West Point; paternal grandmother, Nancy Stuekerjuergen of West Point; maternal stepgrandmother, Lila Fowler of Montrose; paternal stepgrandfather, Dan Fraise of Donnellson; paternal stepgrandparents, Brad and Lynn Buckley of Fort Madison; and paternal stepgreatgrandparents, Louis and Cecelia Fraise of Fort Madison and Frank and Betty Lowe of Hamilton, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Sacred Heart Church, 23rd Street and Avenue I, Fort Madison, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. with a Christian wake service at 7:30 p.m.

The Mass of Christian burial for Mr. Stuekerjuergen will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Church, with the Rev. Thomas Parlette officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Fort Madison.

I never knew Kuja myself, but I\'m sorry I ever even said that old Jack Thompson might not be so bad. At a time like this, after a man\'s commited suicide, to use him for your own gain? Even if there was any credit to be given to Jack Thompson right now, this is THE WORST time he could have used to prey upon the situation. It\'s horrible. It\'s a terrible, insensitive thing to do, and I\'m not going to curse him to eternal death or anything, but I will say that he\'s really got a lot of things he need to take more time to think about. A lot of things.

Really, I\'m very sorry to hear about the suicide of Kuja. I wish that I could be more sympathetic, but I never really knew him before now. All I can say is that everyone in the world really needs to give him proper respect right now, as we would anyone who had just passed on; if there was ever a time for an exploition of another human being for a gain of status, now is most certainly not the time.

I never knew Kuja, myself, either. But a lot of people on GameFaqs seemed worried about him, so he must have been a good person. He will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, I hope. I only wish that people would never choose that way out...

But Jack Thompson, that great fool, is making a mockery once again of a great past time! And using a gamer\'s suicide (who attributes it to other problems, as he said in his post on the GameFaqs boards) to further his own career! Trying to pin it on videogames is ridiculous. If nongamers committed harikari, would Thompson care? No! But when a gamer does? Boom! Games did it!

Trampling on the graves of an apparently good person and condeming something he liked is an insult to his memory! He\'d roll in his grave if he knew about this, I\'m sure.

And that line about calling 911, how many people actually knew his address online? And any who did might have been outside of his state, and might not know if they could contact his local law enforcement, and if they could, if they could even get there in time.

I could go on, but I\'ll stop here. I don\'t want to go to far off subject.

I feel sad. And that\'s not something that happens all too often. Let us pay our respects to this person, and hope his death served for what he believed it did. And sue the ones who want to bow the way of events for their own personal gain.

Adieu, Kuja, though I did not know you, I wish your soul a pleasant flight. May you be happier where you are now than at any given time alive, even though you are separated from many friends and family members. May you get to know the value of life when it\'s gone, as happens often when you lose something. Goodbye, and rest in peace there, wherever you are...

If he really died, I wouldn\'t care, since I didn\'t knew that person. I would feel sorry for the people who knew him, but why bother more than that?

it is still possible he\'s out there laughing because he\'s still alive, and will pop up again one time \"Hey! Lookitee! I\'m NOT DEAD! Whee!\" and be thankful they care(d) so much about him, AND they don\'t kill him on spot when he returns.

He\'s actually dead.

In any case, it was not reported in America, I don\'t think.

The error reporting came from European countries who claimed that he killed himself on a webcam. (There\'s no such web cam.) And that people were egging him on. (This obviously didn\'t happen.)

So, yeah, he is dead.

wow, i never thought i would ever hear something like this. i have heard of a guy that killed his friend for \"stealing\" a sword in an online game. seems he lent it out himself and forgot about it and thought his friend stole it.

man, this is one of the worst things i ever heard. never knew the guy, but still i feel really sorry. let\'s hope he has a better life in heaven. may he be gaming forever, kicking God\'s butt with SSBM... ah never mind. bad idea putting a joke here.

People are just stupid sometimes. They can\'t deal with their own problems so they cop out and f--k up things for the rest of us.

Not like this will effect the game companies, he said it had nothing to do with a game. I\'m guessing he had way too much debt to pay off since he said money.

What ever the reason, I cannot say that I feel bad. He failed and showed the world that he did. He will always be known as one now. The odds are that he could have fixed the problems over time but did he? No. He quit.

Mr.Match, he did call 911 when he realized that he shouldn\'t have done that.

It was just too damn late for him.

Besides, depression can be real nasty, I\'ve had to deal with it at times. It\'s the feeling of utter powerlessness that gets to you which is very nerve wracking and eats away at you.

Jesus, a kid commits suicide, and Jack Thompson has to blame all this crap on videogames?! I mean, seriously, I\'m thinking he was beaten by his parents, dropped on his head numerous times as a baby, got bad grades, had no friends, had no athletic ability, his father hated him, he was rejected for his first kiss eighty-three times in a row, rumors about his sexuality always went around, and RIGHT when he thinks he finds a haven from the real world, videogames, he gets beaten on his first time by a 3 year old.

Man, that sucks. I don\'t see how games can be blamed for suicide. Generally games that involve death invove YOU killing other things not yourself. How the hell MGS comes into I don\'t know. And video games weren\'t around when the Bible was so that bit is irrelevant. Shame on you JT. I hope he gets a hernia lifting an X-Box.

I was never on Game FAQs so never know Kuja but it seems he was a good person. My sympathies go to his family and friends.

To be honest I don\'t think Jack Thompson ever read the original thread starting post. THe lazy ****** heard about it checking google for any material he could use and now he just plain has gone to far. ATtempting to force a mother to sue a videogames company just because he thinks in his twisted mind that the game was why it happened. If you ask me I honestly didn\'t give a (excuse my language DC) shit at first with this guy but still he\'s so out of idea that he\'ll work this angle. THe truth of the matter is I don\'t support suicide I really think anyone who does it is a dumbass, but using some kid\'s suicide and saying it\'s because of videogames is like saying that you should sue a Peanut Butter company just because they made one jar wrong. Honestly Jack THompson, it\'s you who needs to get a life.
