I got on my 5th year on Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, got REEAALLYY far on that game, and everything got messed up. File 1 (The file I saved it on ) got corrupted and THE GAME deleted the file. Is there a way for me to get it back or something?

It\'s gone, bub. That sucks. Happened to me on Final Fantasy Mystic Quest all thew time.....

Save in multiple files so if the game deletes one, you have another copy in a different slot....Works for me....

Oh, you probably

1) Got dust in the game cartridge

2) The game is as old as my grandfather

3) The game wiggled in the console while the game was on
4) Have a faulty game *Points to my harvest moon three*
Yeah, my HM 3 was made in America, the cartridge said GAME at the top instead of Nintendo Gameboy. The cartridge looked like it was made on a sheet if cartridge sides. Ya know, you just snap them off. And, the saudering job was terrible! No warrenty! It was a used game. The instro book had NO warrenty page..... Got it off Amizon.com for $32.00! What a rip-off!

Zero EXE, what you got was a bootleg GBA game. You deserve your money back from Amazon if you explain to them what happened.

Also, beware of Ebay, or any \'used\' game stores. There are A LOT of bootleg GBA games on Ebay these days..

Sorry, I didn\'t realize this was for the cube. Memory card? Is it an official Nintendo Memory Card? If not, than thats just typical......

My main card isn\'t official (as it can hold 1016 blocks of stuff) and it works just fine. Course I almost NEVER take it outta my \'Cube

I have one of those as well, however I\'ve never had any problems. It could be a glitch in the game or memory card. It might be like epilipse (sp?). A specific thing has to happen to trigger the problem.

This happened to me once, and it still happens. but it wasnt to a GBA game.. it was to my Donkey Kong 64. ALL the files get erased when i turn it on. i dont think there is a way to stop it from happening..
probably a glitch or something.

If that happened more than once, the internal battery is probably dead (or doesn\'t have enough charge anymore). You can send the cartridge to Nintendo, they\'ll replace it for a small fee.

Well, I know that for PS1 memory cards, if you saved too much on the same slot you\'d have to use a different one...Don\'t know about the GC ones though...Even though I have a GC...

Actually theres an official card with 1019 blocks, I got the one with 251 so im saving up, harvest moon uses too much blocks. Oh and keitaro, probavly theres dust on the card or in the card reader, it also micht be that the card its not well supported to the GCN when its saving

Have you thought that megaman 9 might be the last one (where Zero is revealed) why? well the first games used Roman numbers I II III IV V

Keitaro, I had a similar fate.......

I used Action Replay for Network Transmission, and my file was corrupted, but I had a new light and new hope.....my corrupted data was normal data once again.

Of course, its a 1 in two-hundred-thousand chance....for corrupted data to be normal data...

I have or had a MadKatz contoller for PlayStation. It broke in the first week. Now it quite often starts activating random buttons on it\'s own, and sometimes if you\'re in a game where the buttons it\'s pressing have little or no effect, you don\'t even notice that the buttons you press aren\'t working for a while. You can usuallly fix it by changing the mode three times (back to original), but sometimes you have to switch the controller and if it\'s malfunctioning you can\'t always pause. Never had a problem with the memory cards, though. The only controller out of about 5 that still works on my Super Nintendo is not an offical one, I don\'t know who it\'s by *goes to check,* it\'s by High Frequency. The one my grandpa got me broke right away, it stopped working completely, but the only thing it says on it is Blockbuster (shiny sticker, on the back).

I don\'t think turbo would corrupt the files, it might just freeze the game. Otherwise I don\'t know what you mean.

Well that was spam.

I have to agree with pikachu there, I went to best buy to buy a second controller for my PS2 so that my brother and I could play against each other in Ace combat 4. I bought a madcatz because it was cheaper than the standard PS2 controller. I got home, turned on the game, and as soon as I got into the battlefield, my plane started going in erratic directions while I just stood there, doing nothing. I immediately went back to best buy and got a standard PS2 controller.

Ussually second party products for next Gen systems suck. i read somewhere that it has to do with the compression they use, it\'s too complex for the companies to figure out.
