I\'m going with the DS. The two screens look awesome to me (not sure why though). I don\'t think it would be too distracting because most games won\'t require the bottom screen for much beyond menus and junk. Or that\'s what I\'d heard.

The PSP looks ok too, I just typically favor Nintendo ware.

Well, the rumored prices have been leaked and I must say (if they\'re any indication) that the DS has a HUGE avantage!

-portable console.. who wants one of those when you can pay the same price for one u plug into your tv.. =S

I don\'t see the PSP doing the same just yet.. or ever will...

One thing that i have to say: PSP is way overrated. All it really is about is the graphics. One thing though, good graphics require a good battery, not some cheap 2 hour battery that costs a lot to replace when your battery finally dies. The DS, wireless connectivity (yes!), good graphics (with a good battery with it ) and, well, you can see for yourself:

Plus, a big, BIG downer about the PSP, its not compatable with the old PS2 and PSX game discs. so those who are big fans of GTA games, expect to fork over more money to the stores for a copy of the game for a different system (if there is a copy of the game at all). Nintendo DS has the GBA compatability and its new format of game cartridges.

True, I guess PSP just pulled the short straw. I mean, we all know it wouldn\'t seem so bad if it weren\'t put up next to the DS. I\'d be getting it if the total cost for PSP+DS was under $300.:P

I\'d choose the old original Gameboy over the PSP.

Ah..I remember the days when Sega had anti-Gameboy commercials saying that the Gameboy was spinach green and their precious GameGear was all colorful..

And also a large piece of plastic garbage that sucked up batteries faster than you can say \'pickled herring\'. My friend bought his GameGear to an outdoor party thing we had at school.. I brought my Gameboy. Guess which one lasted in the 90 degree (farenheight of course) heat, and had more people want to play it? Yep, my Gameboy.

I\'ve taken it everywhere with me, and it still works perfectly. I play Pokemon Yellow on it. I\'m still not sure on the DS though..the dead pixels thing doesn\'t sound too good.

(1).Its has 15 hours of battery life, PSP has 2:eek:

(2).It has wireless (and free) instant messaging and you can sent pictures too.:P

(3.)Also the best thing on the DS is the muti=pak games (muti-pak=Play mutiplay with just one game) Half the games for DS are muti-play so just get within 60 feet of someone and piggyback off thier game.:devil:

That plus I am NOT playing $300 for any system ever.

1. DS has 10 hours of gameplay, PSP has 4-6
2. The PSP will cost roughly $210 US

Obviously the Nintendo DS for me.

I like the PSP better even though it will cost alot.

I heard that you need to use a touchpad for everything on the DS.
