Well, I\'m glad you all believe that a book should be judged solely by its cover.. :rolleyes: The cover isn\'t total crap... and, I\'m looking forward to the game, and trying to avoid spoilers.

A game shouldn\'t just be judged for its cover, but that doesn\'t mean that the cover shouldn\'t be as humanly good as it can be.

First of all, I know I\'m bumping a topic, so sue me...

Has anyone played it yet, I just rented it today and the game play is awesome. Oh, and there is a new armor, big surprise:eek:, and it is called

I bought the game yesterday. It\'s pretty good, but they fucking ruined Vile.

The Neutral armor is kinda worthless by itself, and ugly in my opinion. I like how you can equipd different parts from the Icarus and Hermes armors to it however.

I finally got all the parts to the Neutral Armor and I got to tell you, the stats to the \"blue\" look are my personal favorite. Vile can go on and do something to himself, he is the biggest pain I ever ever seen, popping up everywhere when you least expect it... that little...:cool:

I agree. I like the ability to chose between each individual part for X and yes, the Neutral Armor isn\'t very good looking...I think it\'s the piece that covers X\'s face, it should be wrapped around his back, and not in the front. You know what I\'m talking about?

I\'ve almost beaten it...there\'s NO WAY I\'m telling you who the last boss is...and no...it\'s not who you think it is...

On any rate, I am 82% done the game.

BTW, the Maverick bosses are getting more and more lame as the years go on, wouldn\'t you say? I mean...Optic Sunflower....Burn Rooster....like, wtf is that?

Then the rest are Avalanche Yeti( fun level, if you like going fast :)), Bamboo Pandamonium (it\'s a panda bear! And what a panda bear!), Earthrock Trilobite (...reminds me of Crystal Snail...just the way he fights and the weapon you obtain from him with X), Gravity Antonion (related to Gravity Beetle??), Dark Manits (He\'s cool, he\'s pretty much the only good boss that looks decent enough to be in this game), Gigavolt Manowar (His level....is useless and he\'s even more useless.)

A nice touch to the game is how you level up by collecting Metal found all over the levels and how you can customize each character individually instead of having to split the spoils among X, Zero and Axl. This way in MMX8, it is possible to MAX everybody out!

Another excellent thing about this game is the Cel-shaded anime cut-scenes, which have voices, similar to the ones in that of Mega Man X: Command Mission. If I\'m not mistaken, the could very well be the very same voice actors.

• Axl gets weapons just like X, only the have different names aside from X and he cannot charge them up
• As said on the back of the package, their are multiple ending depending on which character delts the final blow on the last boss.
• Cel-shaded Cut scenes
• Interchangable Armor Parts for X. In other words, you can \'mix\' his armor combination (Armor, Buster, Head, Boots)
• Level Up System. You can level up by collecting Metals scattered all over the levels and using them to buy parts at the R& D Lab.
• Save/Load/Options option is only accessible through the R& D Lab, and does not show up at the end of a level.

  Ultimate Armor X is Unlockable, along with the overpowered Nova Strike which leaves an any boss at 1 unit of health apon impact!(Beat the game and start a new Clear Data Game to unlock, it will show up on the Character Select Screen after you beat the intro stage, it\'s labeled under Neutral Armor)

I heard a couple of other times that Megaman X 8 will be abvialible for the PC so there enjoy:cool:

I\'ve found every rare metal and armor part in the game. Also got 100% in the game too. I didn\'t notice the alternate endings, every I saw was the same. Why is that? Why can\'t I see the others and yes, I finished off lumine with zero, axl, and X.
