Now, I haven\'t heard much about Sedna, but my mom said she\'d discovered some science website where they proclaimed that a newly-discovered planet, named Sedna, may be the newest addition to our Solar System. From what I hear, it\'s supposed to be a lot smaller than Pluto, which would bring up quite the debate about wether it counts as a planet or not...

EDIT: Nevermind the info. I found a link to a site with lots of info about our mysterious family addition.

A Planet. This was a topic that was made before. Please search for these kind of things before you post them. Thank You!

Wonder what aliens it has....

Green men?

King Ghidorah?

Big beetles?

My suggestions, though, don\'t take the King Ghidorah suggestion too lightly.......

On Topic: Whoah, and Sedna is small. Might be Pluto\'s second moon.

No no. If you checked the info, you\'d see that\'s impossible.

Check this out

According to the info page, That big cluster of dots near the top is our Solar System. And that elliptical shape is Sedna\'s orbit. (The black dot at the top of the shape being Sedna.)

Now, back to Zero.EXE.

You were right. I checked, and there IS, in fact, a very old topic already on this subject. But since I posted this without the knowledge beforehand, I\'d like very much to keep this thread, thank you.

Sorry, FlareMan.

Sedna might be Planet X

Sedna snuck in, and resisted the Sun\'s gravitational pull. And it\'s staying that way to avoid any gravitational shifts, so its orbit is like that.

See what I mean?

It can\'t be a planet. It\'s smaller than Pluto, and that\'s already borderline.

Actually, it is Planet-X. That\'s what they called it before they gave it the name \"Sedna\".

on topic: I think the probing intrest in science with mankind will be the death of us...really...I think if we find a new planet with a curse and those acid aliens come and kill us all...I\'ll blame science

Off topic: Dont report the new guy go easy on him...we should do like a 3 strike system or somethin.

I think we should open our galactic planetary citizenship. That way, we could ruin all the kid\'s lives who have already memorized the names of the current 9 for tests! Hahaha, feel the wrath of the scientific community!

But back on topic, are there any planets smaller than Pluto or larger than Sedna? Should they not be admitted first?

Sedna was found first. If they find another, that one will be considered too.

I want to name a planet... I want to name it, \"Furea\".
