SpongeBob appeals to a much wider range of ages.

Also, about the grossness, Ren and Stimpy was much worse in that department and it was on Nickolodeon for a few years.

Well, then it must not be until after the first DVD. I rented it a while ago at Blockbuster (strangely enough it was in the anime section) and there were no curse words at all. That was about the first nine episodes, I think.

It was a perfectly decent anime. perhaps it was a tad disturbing or a little gory at times. That could explain it. Whatever happened to it, it was a ton of good.:D

Yeah, I know Invader Zim isn\'t anime. I was surprised to see it in that section when I first saw it. There are other things there that aren\'t anime, like the animated Lord of the Rings video and other stuff I can\'t remember.

I believe that most movie stores classify cartoons of the like of Invader Zim as being action cartoons. It doesn\'t seem like a Nickelodean cartoon belongs there, but then again, Zim is no longer a Nickelodean cartoon...
