When I was a kid, I got a hearty smack on the side of my face if I happened to step out of line. It\'s not so with the kids of today- more and more often I\'m seeing child abuse cases where the kids win more often than not. Maybe the parents of said children are scared of the consequences of \"child abuse\"?

I honestly think these little buggers should be put in some sort of order rather than the social heierarchy they have over the rest of the adult population.

And another thing that bugs me is that kids don\'t read anymore! Whatever happened to reading a kid a bedtime story before they nodded off to sleep? How about a nice copy of Dr. Seuss\' Green Eggs and Ham to curl up to when you\'re five and can\'t sleep?

It saddens me to say that most kids don\'t flipping care when it comes to reading- they want their utterly STUPID cartoon shows with no morals or any kind of storyline. They should watch Rocky and Bullwinkle or Underdog instead of this Spongebob Squarepants crap you\'ve on the television now.

I went to a high school where every year, we got dumber and dumber people that just had absolutely no brains or respect for others coming over from a middle school where the administration was said to be almost non existant. It showed too, as the kids always tried to get suspended for anything, cause it was a free day off. They have absolutely no maturity left in them, and if they didn\'t get their way, they\'ll beat the stuffing out of you, doesn\'t matter if you\'re another student, teacher, counselor, assistant prinicpal, your gonna get beat. There was a case where that happened (a teacher got beat up pretty bad) but that was after I was gone.

Heh, I curse a few times here and there, but I don\'t overdo it. There are those people who say the F word every two words in a sentance. Those are the people you can tell have no life.

The ones that smoke, do drugs, swear, and steal just to be cool are all stupid. Why ruin your life, just for popularity? God, I am that popular here, and I don\'t do drugs or any of that stuff. Just be yourself. Stop trying to be somebody your not.
Here is the issue. People think \"Hey, she\'s popular. If I smoke just like her, maybe I\'ll be popular too!\" And those who try to talk you into it, are just a bunch of assholes. They could care less about your health, or even less about you.

If you want to have true friends, just be yourself, because those stuck up popular girls don\'t really have friends. They just have admirers. People say they are friends with them, and hang around them, do it just to look cool.

You have the power to change. No one else can make you change, unless you give in to them.

Also, I think that it is possible, that I am mature, only because people hate me. I am the one looking at life through a lower perspective. I am feeling the pain. Now that I\'ve felt the pain, I know how others hate it too. If I was another person, I wouldn\'t like it either. Look at both sides, and see which one is right.

These people are annoying and stupid, I have many of these people in the trailor park I live in, and I\'m the only civilised, 3-quarters decent person there. I don\'t expose myself to \"Spongebob\" or anything cartoon-ish. I watch Steve Irwin, The Science Channel, Discovery, Animal planet, and a few comidies here and there to keep myself from becoming too strict with myself. These kids however don\'t care at all, and I dislike that. I had a 10 year old asking me to buy him ciggarettes. I don\'t smoke, drink, or anything like that, but I said \"NO! You better clean yourself up, or I\'m going to report you to the police.\" He replied with \"GO F*** YOURSELF!\" and got a few of his buddies(They were around 16 and 17) and they hit me a few times, so I just pulled out my phone when I got home and called the police.
Next, and worst- the teens themselves.

These kids I loathe. They\'re amoral and stupid. I got hit with a can of Raid four times when I was walking home from taking a walk(I need to stay fit). One came up to me the other day asking me if I wanted to join his \"gang\". I turned it down, and about 14 of them came in from the woods and beat me really hard.

Her mom got her 3. The kid wanted 4. The kid cried more, and got 4 MORE dolls. The dad had another idea- don\'t get one and smack the kid. The mom protested and yelled. Luckily, they got kicked out of the mall.

There\'s also the deal about these pampered white idiots, saying that they are gangsters, pimps, ho\'s, and the like. Most of these people don\'t even know what a pimp is. Man, I guess I can\'t stop people from swearing, but just about any swear that is used in anger is a curse placed upon another person, which is an ability no man should possess...

However, we all do.

It\'s all because of the media. Now, I\'m not gonna rant about how violence kills kids\' minds or anything like that- violence is kinda cool sometimes. But the things I learned in psychology so far present me with this:

Impressionable young people follow examples. Which is why a kid mimics what their parents say, no matter how bad it might be. If the parents swear, the kids do it because they think, \"Hey, Dad did it...it must be OK.\"

When they get a tiny bit older, however, they start to see things on the TV. Things like the superhero shows that the WB likes so much (I couldn\'t say what they are, I don\'t really watch TV any more). THen they try and mimic the behavior the superhero did. Hell, I know I tried to beat the crap out of my stuffed animals right after I watched the Power Rangers. All of you did, I know it.

So more or less, the media IS to blame for most of our violent tendencies and for our vulgar words. Sorry to say, but the jerks are right. But only about kids that don\'t know better. See, we don\'t try and kill our stuffed animals or learn new swear words when we watch anime.

No no, older folks don\'t try to learn swear words from anime, they try to learn Japanese from anime.

As for swearing, it\'s just part of my repetoire now. What\'s so \"bad\" about it anyway, it\'s just a sentence enhancer. I\'m not one to blab it infront of kids, or scream it in church, so I don\'t see the \'badness\'. The more you use the words, less shock value they have anyway..I say everyone uses them until they become boring, then kids won\'t think the words are \'cool\' anymore and they will no longer say them every 10 seconds.

Not every kid is like that i am 12 years old in honors class.I barely swear and when i do its not at the person.(so please dont make it sound us kids are bad)most kids in my class are nice well duh or they wouldnt be in honors or maybe.....

At least when I learn japanese from Anime, I learn what the words mean first :P.

My parents don\'t want us to swear, but, sometimes they let it go, like, if there\'s a song on we all like, we\'re all singing it, and theres a mild swear in it. Or, if I\'m telling a joke that has a mild swear in it, and it makes them laugh. I admitedly do swear at school.. it\'s a problem, and something I shouldn\'t do. I\'m 17, so I should know better. However, my parents will not allow me to be a spoiled brat. They started me working at the family business.. Mom said, and I quote, \"either you work here when the hardware truck comes, or, you\'ll have to find a REAL job\" and, I don\'t wanna work at McChoke\'n\'Pukes.
As for the skanks and whores.. our school has no shortage of those.. A high school girl got pregnant last year, a few of my idiot classmates are talking about getting MARRIED, etc. Unfortunately, the area our school is also in is like.. the Methamphetamine capitol of the country.. lots of anhydrous ammonia to steal, and lots of places out in the boonies to make crystal meth. That may be one of our problems... Not to mention, I know for a fact that a lot of my classmates have loser parents that either:
a) discipline them too hard, like actually beating them, or..
not enough discipline.. let the kids drink, smoke, party, trespass, destroy others\' property, drive poorly
I think that, for the most part, the problems with kids are related to discipline, and the way their parents handle their behavior.

But I care about graphics! I mean, in my opinion, when you say good graphics, you aren\'t talking about 3D vs. 2D or cel-shading vs. polygons. Many 2D games are animated, in my opinion, better than today\'s 3D games. It really depends on the quality rather than the medium. I mean, I can respect a game for graphics.

it was inevitable, kids were gonna become corrupt someday....soo well for the great millenium! I love southpark and all that stuff but I dont think an impressional little kid should watch it (bad words, violent issues) but parents arent as involved into their childs lives to know what theyre playing or watching and manhunt if a 7 year old got it what would he do to his friends!
