Lamers like swords, otakus like swords, just your average joe likes swords. Alot of people like swords. Zero has a sword..kinda. So alot of people like Zero.
People also like \'badass\' characters. They think of Zero as \'badass\' because of his \"No talk, just fight!\" attitude. Yeah right, real badass. He\'s just a reckless idiot.
And as for Zero being bishounen...uhh, no he\'s not. I don\'t know how a robot (reploid, whatever) can be bishounen. Maybe if you draw them without their armor on, it\'d work..but otherwise, no. You can\'t see alot of the standard \'bishie\' features with the armor in the way.
OfflineI think X is better, only for the fact that he has a big charge shot in X7 and I don\'t think many people can survive it without minimal damage. It\'s so HUGE!!!

Built to resemble the Native Americans of centuries ago, Tomahawk Man follows up his basic programming to be knowledgeable and wise about their beliefs as well. His original function was akin to a ranger of the plains but the destruction of the land made him bitter about the lack of respect given by outsiders. His weapon of choice is his silver tomahawk, an axe head grafted onto the end of his right arm. He can use it to fire axe blades of energy at his opponents, and can also pull shrapnel feathers from his headdress to throw like daggers. Tomahawk Man's priorities sometimes get mixed up -- he'll fire a warning shot at someone chopping down a tree before an attacking enemy. His dislike of those that would destroy nature can extend to his fellow Master brothers, but he tries to make his dislike known vocally instead of by action.

Face people. Most of the people here like Zero better than X. He has everything X does, he can charge up his Z-buster {in X1 he gave his buster to X so he was able to charge his so I assume this}, dash, put on armor, and use special weapons.
