Gingekoda and I want to invite everyone to a Creeper's Lab Picture Day. (A first?); this Saturday at the start of Events Night. The purpose will be to post the images on our Facebook page so everyone can recognize staff by sight during play. Players are also invited, if you wish to have your picture posted. Over a year ago, maybe even a year and a half, AlphaSniper was exploring the caverns around my home. He came running into my room shouting that he fell in lava. I jumped on to try and see if anything was left. I found a couple of items but most of his stuff was gone.

I spent some time covering lava, making a walkway, and protectifying the area.

Aaranvor and I were mining/exploring and unwittingly found the other end of that chasm with the lava in it today. I didn't realize where ...

So I got to thinking today. What is something that we could do as a community that isn't necessarily MC. WELL after some thinking (I know, Mikey thinking. Right?) I thought why not do contest such as having a competition for speed running a game such as Portal. We'd have a set list of people who are competing and we could all jump into our beloved Mumble server (Which I don't know if it still exists or not) and play the game. Sora's desert had now been drained of all its sand, and I'm still in need of vast amounts of sand to finish my dome and for future projects.

I am on the search for a desert near to someone that is connected to the nether rail system, and that they wouldn't mind if that desert disappears. I can build my own hut in the area, I just don't want to have to make a lot of trouble for a new nether line for a place that is just going to be drained.

as some of you may have noticed, i mysteriously vanished and im here to explain. so basicly my summer has been busy, and my computer is showing its age. so i WILL be bakc!! im in the process of buying a new computer.

also about the sand castle contest, my supposed "entry" was actually just a starter base. :lol: :D i had plans of building a nice castle, but then my stupid computer decided that it didn't want to run minecraft.

So I had this idea (while drinking my morning coffee and eating breakfast) for a possible - extended - event. If anyone is familiar with or played "bridges" (on mineplex) it's sorta like that, but here goes:

Since the last event night was a success, and featured a new fighting style, I thought of a new one, also featuring water. I got the idea from a combination of boat guardian concept and water battles.

It's a sifter for the sandbox. Made it out of an old crib I found in the neighbor's trash, and a screen door screen. I'm now thinking of how to convert it for use in Minecraft. Everyone needs a ginormous sand sifter in their home, right?

I FINALLY FINISHED A PROJECT.... AND IT ONLY TOOK ME A YEAR AND TWO MONTHS. The best part is I beat Sal to it!

Currently I've sent out a request for all those willing to help build a floating city on T9K and haven't gotten anyone convinced yet.

Am I the only one getting drop down "Crime Watch" boxes on the maps? Had a problem with it getting installed when I tried to put OpenOffice on but I thought I had gotten rid of it! Don't get the drop downs on any other web pages (I'm using Firefox).

I was talking to Wind a few days ago and he came up with a core idea for seasonal maps and events. Basically, there would be a temporary world added to the server that'd get rotated after each major holiday or season. I like the concept and think it'd be neat if we had, say, 5 or 6 different periods a year with each featuring a special map on a given theme. Contests and events might also take place in those temporary locations, not unlike last summer's Botanical Garden contest ...

Some of you have seen my recent facebook pictures and messages, but for those people who aren't on my friend list. On April 1st my wife and I had a new baby girl. She weighs 8lb 12oz and 19.5in long healthy and happy. So I won't be on much the next few weeks as we readjust and get use to a baby in the house again. I will talk with you all soon.
