For the last 24 hours, several of you most likely noticed that the website was no longer available and might have never returned. Don't be so afraid, though: it was all just a joke! After last year's specific attacks (board, MMPC Website and oekaki), I decided to take the *complete* site down for the prank.
However, there's a little yet important detail that you probably missed: there wasn't a single error page. There were FOUR of them! As ...
To make sure that as many people as possible see this... Repost from the news page:
With the new site layout complete, news posting happening once again, the resume feature finally added to the oekaki board and the message board settled in with IOBoard, several of the website's main projects are over or close to be. That gives me an opportunity to consider the future of the website.
As such, I thought that it was well due to put another survey asking for feedback, comments and ide ...
At the end of July 2002, something happened on both the message and oekaki boards, and that event caused changes that are still quite visible today. Five years ago, already, nomations were held for the first moderating positions ever available. Among the people selected back then were Breakman (message board) and Kia Purity (oekaki board), who are both firmly seated in their positions to this day!
I'd like to use this moment to thank both of you for keeping the watch for so long. If you'r ...
And we're back once again, this time without a one-month gap!
If you only visited the message board, you might have missed the whole thing. My "attack" happened on three fronts, as I wanted to cover as much ground as possible this year.
First of all, the message board saw the return of the now-infamous "Admin panel" link, but this time it banned you until the end of the day. This had two goals: tease those who participated in last year's battle, and kill most of the discussion so that ...
A lot of people asked me over the years when I was going to put a new layout up on the site. My answer stayed the same over time: "I don't see why I should spend time creating something looking different, since this one works well and still looks great. I like it." I still didn't really change my mind. The goal of this process was to refresh the background code, which was among the oldest still available on Interordi.com as a whole.
As an example of the code refresh, this is an old-style ...
NewApril fools? Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't Started by Juno on 2 April 2007 at 9:49
Okay, so I come home after a long day down at the theatre, and I do my usual thing. I unlock my room, put my jacket, keys, etc, in their places, then I eat, and then I get on the computer. I come here, and I see "Admin Panel" highlighted in red in the user options. Now, I stare at that a moment, and the first thought I had was: "Was I promoted and not told?" Then I remember it's April 1st, AKA April Fools Day :) So, knowing the Doc always does something for April 1st I decide to click it and ...
Doc, if you get the time, can you go into more detail about signature limits?
Cause \'back in the day\' (when the board was starting) everyone\'s sigs were small, and neat.
Now we\'ve got members with HUGE FREAKIN SIGS with 3 pictures goin in them..so, I just wanted to get some clarification. o.o And if anyone wants to make suggestions, they can.. :)
Instead of having one seperate forum for every series... (Original, X, Zero, etc)
You could just have two seperate MegaMan forums.
One for the main series timeline (Which would encompass Classic, X, Zero, ZX, and Legends?), one for the spinoff Battle Network series (Including Star Force, of course.), and then of course the forum for non MegaMan-related games.
Now I realize the Main Series forum seems like you'd be scrunching a LOT of different t ...
I thought I might as well make a topic where you can have ideas for new smilies. The other topic bout smilies is\'nt really about this so here are my ideas: I think there should be a happy cry, there should be a rolleyes where the guy ai\'nt smiling, and a shaking the head while smiling. Edited by Ribitta on June 17, 2006 at 20:19:35.
I'm working on compiling a list of common questions that show up all the time, or repeated mistakes, all related to the Mega Man games. This includes questions such as "Is there a Mega Man 9?" (there isn't), or often wrong details such as the colors of X and Zero's eyes. The goal is to build a reference that people can check on, or link someone whenever one of those elements shows up. Do you have an item that you believe should be includedI want to make this section available in a few days, ...
Unlike the message board, the chatroom runs on a 24 hour schedule. I keep an eye on the place, along with Unknown_Entity/Flaming_Nutmeg, Phatman Dover/Atomsk, and Alia. Of course, the moderators can't hope to be always around to catch things when they happen. As such, I'm looking to add an extra person or two to the team.
I don't expect anyone to stay in the chatroom several hours every day, because it's very likely that you are busy with other tasks. What I'm looking for is someone who c ...
ZO Wiki is a joint project between the communities of Zero Outpost (my board) and this board. It is a resource of all Megaman information, from anywhere and everywhere. Ranging from boss strategies, to plot summaries, to character analysis. It's the free Megaman Encyclopedia, that anyone can edit!
Dr. Cossack approved of this, I think even he will be adding information from tim ...
If you missed it, this year April's Fools Day prank involved giving everyone on the message board the administrator status. That's it. People, however, quickly noticed and almost litteraly turned the board into a full-scale war wasteland. Within an hour, the layout was changed; within two, all topics had been deleted; within a few more, the layout was corrupted almost beyond repairs. By the end of the day, the place was nearly unrecogniza ...
Hi, all, I was just surfing the MMBN boards, and noticed how lots of the same people were answering the questions. This brought up a question which (I\'m sure) has probably been asked before: Who on these message boards do you all find the most helpful/kind/considerate? I\'ll put in my vote as Dr. Cossack (of course), WindRider~, Sage Cryst, and Hollow Torment. These are just the names which I remember helping out the most, and anyone who knows me knows I forget names easily. So? W ...
Well, my dear Dr. C, I\'ve been thinking, N00b Hunting is great fun and all, but if it is possible (you\'d probably have thought of it if it was), if it is, wouldn\'t it be better for us Members and Mods and you, the Admin\'s Sake, if new Members get a little tutorial?
Well, not a real tutorial, but a PM with links to the rules and the FAQ, since newbies need those most. I can give any new member a \'Welcome\' PM, like usually, also asking to read those two things, but that would make all o ...

Hey, Zera here. I am posting this because newcomers sometimes come here posting things that have been been posted before, and it gets annoying... So read below:
Ok, so, you want to post a topic. Maybe people will agree to your idea or answer your question, oh boy! Now, you\'re reaching for your \"New Topic\" button... STOP RIGHT THERE! Now, think about your question. Is it worth asking it? Is it appropriate? Is it something someone else has asked? Is it spam? Ask yourself these ...
Well, welcome back to life for me! As you probably noticed, I\'ve been banned from the website for the last 24 hours as Necro got a wild ride through the skies... err, the boards. However, in opposition to what some believed, Necro indeed became administrator and I was indeed banned: it wasn\'t just for show! For the record, I\'m the one who came up with the idea and approached Necro into helping me. He wrote all of the explanation posts that were put a bit everywhere. It helped to make thin ...
