Yeah, Megaman\'s very first name was Rock. Which is named after a category of music, just like Protoman\'s is named after the Blues. Get it? It\'s not meant to be funny so don\'t laugh...Oh! And Bass\'s name is Forte, which is the type of sound you make when playing an organ. I\'ll let ya know if I come up with anything else.
InactiveI have also notices that that bass and megaman have almost the same adapter

Hikari/Λ is indeed the japanese word for light. However, just because his name isn\'t Dr. Hikari doesn\'t mean that the japanese usage of Right is not meant to be Light. There is no distinguished L sound in the Japanese language, they use R\'s for L, which is abit like a mix of both, really in Japanese. The Japanese often like to use English words when they can. The only way in Japanese to say Dr. Light is Dr. Right. If one were to say that R\'s are just R\'s when the Japanese say English words, then I guess the Japanese could never say any English word with an L in it. So I guess the famous series Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball, are actually called Sairor Moon and Dragon Barr, because the Katakana for both series reads Seeraa Muun and Doragon Booru respectively.
Also, I don\'t know if you bothered to think of how illogical the arguement that they would have used hikari and not Right if they meant for his name to mean Dr. Light. If his name was supposed to be Dr. Right, then Lan\'s father wouldn\'t be named Dr. Hikari(correct me if I\'m wrong with his name and him bein Lan\'s father, I don\'t play Battle Network but I have read things about it), because there would be no reason to associate his family name with the idea of light. Hmmmmmm.

It\'s just swapped the L\'s and R\'s probably to have a more... foreign sound in it maybe. For example... Cagalli of Gundam SEED is known as Cagarri in japanese. And Athrun Zala has Zara.
Maybe those are just badly subbed though...
But I have one question. If hikari means light, what\'s Hikaru mean?
The R\'s and L\'s aren\'t swapped. It\'s the same sound in Japanese. If you see Japanese using foreign words, every R could potentially be an L. To know which is correct, you have to sound it out and figure out which makes more sense.
Hikaru is to shine, I believe.

Well, Also note that Megaman is Rock and there is his sister Roll (Rock and Roll). It first occured to me in the first episode of the original 1995 Megaman Televusion Series.

His dislike of those that would destroy nature can extend to his fellow Master brothers, but he tries to make his dislike known vocally instead of by action.
